The key is what makes a country or state. It's faith. No matter country, religoin or myth, all the existing organizations is based on the same faith. If you want to create a new state, you need let people believe in the same story system and hold the same faith.

bitcoin is so good that now it allows you to create additional applications to your blockchain to use fast small payments for goods and services.bitcoin will be used for payment.

No matter how good Bitcoin is when it comes to payment system, I still do not believe that it will become a new state since Bitcoin is being adopted by the government thus, preventing it to create a separate state or faction of people who believe in it.  So that's it I think, the government adoption and regulation is the key why there will be no new state created for Bitcoin.

I don't know for sure whether it can become the currency of a new state but to my mind this is possible. I think it is a good way of becoming richer and financially independent investing in btc
To become a new country's currency is very difficult because it requires requirements that support bitcoin can be used. First, there must be a fast and stable internet network, both levels of education must be adequate, bitcoin must be available in unlimited quantities. All three factors must be fulfilled, without that factor cannot be used.

I think, a lot of us saw Bitcoin like tool for freedom. Now most people look at this like opportunity for enrichment. I don’t think that rich equals freedom. I know a many rich people’s. They are far from freedom.

It is now evident that just cryptocurrencies is not sufficient to achieve the goal. We need a State at our side. But current States seek to preserve the old order.

State it is a community with uniform rules. Territorial principle don’t need for creation of the State in the 21st century. So what do you think what's to stop us to come together and creation a new State now?
Freedom is a very general term. But if you think of freedom from state, it will not happen. They will make rules that will in favor with the state. The good thing that happened right now is that you already have alternative aside from fiat that continues to inflate.

all that is possible. because we can also see that the longer each country is growing. so anything we don't expect can happen by itself. so we just believe that everything will work. because in this world no one can't.

I believe it is possible for a cryptocurrency to become the currency of a virtual world. But whether that currency would be Bitcoin or not, I don't know. What state(s) do you think Bitcoin could become currency of?

This could definitely happen in the short term in broken countries like Venezuela. The appeal of cryptocurrency in a sick country such as Venezuela is obvious, it takes away the need to trust the government and the banks, and puts some control in the hands of people living in a place of chaos

I think it’s a good idea because Bitcoin needs a hospitable environment to develop. It also needs governments, developers, users to collaborate. The integrative approach will allow examining the issues of Bitcoin and finding the best solutions through discussion. Successful experience of just one country will encourage others to adopt this practice and make Bitcoin popular.

in my opinion bitcoin will not be able to become a currency in any country, because it does not have a clear identity. and bitcoin still depends on its users. it's very dependent

The desire for current states to keep the "old world order" around will become much more clear in the future. For now they don't quite know what to make of bitcoin, don't take it seriously, are flexing their muscles to see if they can control it or are hoping they can find a way to profit off it. However, be ready for there to be plenty of backlash once governments realize that their real ability to control crypto currencies as a whole is very limited. (Some creative and enterprising people may solve some of the main issues that allow government interference with a currency or even bitcoin itself in the future).

Creating a new state has the same issues; no one takes said state seriously or attempts to control it until they realize that it's something that can indeed become relevant. As such neither should be approached with haphazardness; if people are going to create a state they must solve the problems - regardless if Bitcoin or another crypto currency is their currency or not. Same is true with bitcoin and crypto in general. There's problems we must solve, such as adoption, ease of use, etc.

To pull both off those who do it gonna have to think completely outside the box and be dedicated. Can both be done? Yes. I believe so.

I'm gonna be one of the few that's gonna try to pull some of this off eventually; once I learn more so I guess we'll see how it goes.... Smiley.

I think it might be possible to apply it to a new country, with the country's records being prepared to become a modern country, where everything is digital. So between the government, society and infrastructure is adequate, in the sense of being a smart country.

Without a certain territory, a state cannot be created. You will always be within the borders of any state, and the promotion of the creation of a new state can be regarded by law enforcement agencies as a violation of the national legislation of the host country. Therefore, in order to fulfill your dream, it is best to buy an island and build your own state there.

Bitcoin will be difficult to become the currency of a country, because the price is unstable and is decentralized, while a country needs a stable currency so the economy can run well and the government can run regularly. For me, bitcoin should remain like what is currently available, so that it is not controlled and always gets the trust of many people around the world and is able to give goodness to all of us in crypto currency.

If bitcoins are becoming more and more popular and widely used in the world, then it is possible

Bitcoin is too unstable to become a country/state currency, meanwhile a country's currency also need to have some characteristics that bitcoin does not have for examples: It has to be stable, its value will be regulated and determined buy the government and the economic state of the country, all these features are not available in bitcoin which is why it will be far more impossible for it be a country/state currency.

Bitcoin is a digital currency and not like a currency commonly used in several countries. Most people prioritize cash rather than digital and also bitcoin is very risky if used massively in a country because its use is free and lack of regulation.

new country will certainly make their own local currency, they will not use foreign currency, moreover bitcoin id decentralized, of course the government doesn't want it, maybe even worst as the rate of currency destroyed from that country, changing their currency is not an option

Agree on what mornabo said . every country has already have its own local currency or signature currency rather to represent thier own country  . that can only be one but still bitcoin and cryptos can still be useable by any countries as long as it isnt restricted because cryptos are for everyone since it is online  .

why not? unless they use USD to determine BTC price, they should use BTC as payment method and not check it with USd .

we do use local corrency unit as measurement in order for us to determine the price of btc and any other cryptos  and its impossible to use btc or to know what the current value of it , if we dont use other currency  .
