Haha. I think he just wasted time and even more money doing what he did. If I flew to Japan I wouldn't spend an entire week sitting outside a building with my laptop in a half-assed protest attempt. looks like the guy from the zombie movie sean of the dead.

for everyone that wanted their money out of MT Gox, bitcoin dude said "give us our money" for everyone that wanted to curse Mt Gox, bitcoin dude [I don't know his name] confronted the Mt Gox CEO on your behalf, for everyone that was too busy, broke, dejected, or proud to do a public protest, bitcoin dude made the trip, braved the cold, and walked the walk. for everyone that join him on the protest line, or signed an electronic petition, or started a thread demanding accountability from Mt Gox, bitcoin dude was the poster child of your cause. and for everyone that lost money with Mt Gox, bitcoin dude clearly shared in your loss
I didn't lose shit-oshi at Mt Gox, but I give bitcoin dude big props for taking a righteous stand in a responsible fashion.

I don't know if the protesters really will have their place in Bitcoins history books, but I know this one has: That image was my first post on these forums. They could've had a bit more fun at the protest by sitting on those blue exercise balls whilst sipping frappuchinos.

It takes a lot of brave instead of sitting at home typing typing . He at least tried to talk personally

Everybody on reddit laughed initially at their protest, I thought it was great he got in his face, that could very well be, the last chance that ever happens now that Mark has most probably flown the coop, or gone into a bunker.
For the record, this guy did initiate or most definitely confirm a few things, first, it showed Mark's total lack of concern or empathy for Goxxers (frap and smug smile) it showed he couldn't answer the simplest questions, (do you still have our coins? followed with Mark, "I'll call the cops on you") and it did put Mark on the defensive (We're moving due to Security concerns via website a day or two later) seriously this guy in 20 seconds managed to capture and embody everything we hate about Mt.Gox. Even now their msg. on their webpage is so far removed from reality..
"We will be closely monitoring the situation" Umm the situation is what you created. there isn't some situation out there in the cosmos that you need to monitor, it's YOU. lol
it could only come from someone who looks like Mark in that video, oblivious to his hand of MAGIC that has failed to trick anyone anymore. I don't know if it woulda changed anything, but this "confrontation" shoulda happened many months ago.

I saw an interview with him few hours ago on Euronews. He was in front the building. Now all Europe knows that the biggest Bitcoin exchange is closed and people might not get their Bitcoins. They just need to explain to the people what is Bitcoin. I dont understand why they presented it like everybody knows what is Bitcoin. They should put a little background first.
