A copy and paste I use after luring somebody into Bitcoins over Facebook convo

This is what I use when I'm chatting on Facebook statuses after I've lured them into a Bitcoin conversation and how they work I used it like twice but before i use it more would anyone say there is anything misleading(mind you this is for a general purpose any age group so everyone can understand)? I'll usually paste this after they always ask "How do you fill up your Gas? or get your groceries?" I'd like to note this is a very common question I get when I talk about Bitcoins to people whom have never heard of it.

Bitcoins aren't meant to replace any other currency(Bitcoins isn't technically not a currency its more like a store of value or bartering value). Bitcoins should however be used to prevent identity theft when purchasing things on line.

Think about it when you buy with a credit card not only are you forced to typing in your living address you are forced to give out your credit card number. This is a huge deal because the unfortunate thing about credit/debit cards is that once some one has acquired the number by means of hacking a merchants website it is over they can charge it up until hits the negatives.

Bitcoins however they use encryption methods that will only allow ONLY the owner of the said Bitcoins to be spent and no one else.
Here are some other reasons why it is use full

1]Your account can never reach the negatives

2]It cost only $0.001 to send funds to another person(with paypal it is 3% + $2 and bank wire transfers are $10 minimum)

3]It takes only 10 minutes at the most to send any amount of Bitcoins across the globe(Banks statements wont show up on your on-line bill for up to 3 days and if its over $5,000 they may hold your funds for up to 10 days until it clears how inconvenient!!!)

4]You can not have more then 21 million Bitcoins into existence so its like gold and the idea is that the value will always slowly increase(but that increase is just a theory until proven).

# 3 WTF, What do bank statements online have to do with sending money? BTW BOA, Wells Fargo, Citi and almost all banks update in real time in 2011. This was true about 5 years ago.

Thanks for your insight but your forgetting about weekends mate . Sometimes my bank(one you have listed) won't post my debit/credit statements for up to 2.5 days and if i remember correctly statements are completely frozen on Sundays.

Only problem with that copy/paste is it's way to long for the average internet searchers.
A better tl;dr version would be:

"I made over $30,000 last month with Bitcoins."

They'll be doing researches on their own shortly after.

couple of comments : 'cma'  I am not very good at english, but I can hear when something doesn't sound right.

• " not only are you forced to typing in your living address"   typing should be type.  oh, and living should be billing,  you are not forced to type in your home address.  (also another clue , no one says living address.)

Does it really matter if you have to wait until Monday and then three more days to convert the money back to cash anyway? Even if you find a merchant that takes BTC, he still couldn't ship anything on Sunday even if he wanted to.  So what's the benefit?

I agree with you heartly. They keep using bitcoin as a currency while in reality it isnt.
