People are only victims of their own poor trading skills. Regarding the term hold, if applied to bitcoin I cannot see anyone being a victim in the long run. However regarding ALTS, then holding is not always the best advice. I try to do as much research as possible, but in the end i go with my gut and if i like a project enough to believe in, then I'll hold till the bitter end.

I continued to hold on to some of my assets even though it would be hard later on because I was very sure the market would definitely stabilize according to my predictions. Hopefully this will never miss and if this happens, I am very happy.

What if cryptocurrency woulf not be approved by etf? you know thatvit could affect the bitcoin market pricr and probably it could drop for more. I suggest to trade for now anf invest again later when market price starts to recover.

I don't believe you are a victim if you do your own due diligence and make a rational decision in your investing. Some people may have medical bills or other emergency expenses, and others only have a small fraction of their wealth in cryptocurrencies and thus the volatility is not the least bit worrisome. I believe in holding long term.

I think if you picked high quality projects HOLDing is a fine strategy.  Of course you need to sell if you get up huge.  But holding is a good idea as long as you have a exit plan and a solid project.  Going on an emotional trading frenzy to regain your losses is a much worse victim to be.

I believe you are right that hodling is a fine strategy to do if you believe you picked a high quality project. There's no doubt that if the project is high quality the value of it's token will rise after several months. Anyway still good trading skills is the best strategy of all. Enhance your trading skills so you won't be a victim.

Yes, I'm also a victim of HODL, and I think there were some whales that deliberately signaled HODL during last year's crazy upward trend, which caused heavy losses for many investors, especially those who just entered the market in December last year.

When it comes to holding altcoins, I would say yes. I am a victim of it because I have coins that are valuable before and because I believe in just holding it when the price continues to go down, many of them are already worthless and some projects were already abandoned that's why there is no hope for it to go up unless pumped. Learned my lesson this way that's why nowadays, I would just sell my coin when it reach a point of certain loss and buy back later on. It's better to sell earlier because when the value of my coin lost half of it, it needs to recover 100%.

Of course I beleived on this because I am the one experience about word of HOLD  which is my token in wallet is victimized and Im so angry about this kind of jobs easy to victim of all members.HOLD is not the reason to kept it too long to avoid victim again.

yes, i am a victim of HODLing.

back in 2014 price was around $400 that i started buying bitcoin. everyone was saying bitcoin is dead and i continued buying bitcoin then it fell to $200 and it still continued buying bitcoin and accumulating it for all the months it stayed there at the bottom of that time. then price went up and down and i bought and held and .... until today i am buying and HODLing and being a victim of the word while seeing my balance grow.

in my opinion, HODL is only for large coins with large volumes and is ready to bounce
HODL is very risky on a small volume of coins, even worse, never do a HODL on an ERC20 token
my experience, ERC20 token has never experienced reflection, so once it drops, the price will remain below

No, I don't consider it being a victim by holding your btc. I consider it as a strategy not to loose my investment and that is how important in holding is especially if you have a bigger btc investment. I believe that the best strategy is to hold more or go for a long term investment and you will be sure you would not regret such decision.

I guess you are a victim of your own stupidity! There's no one to blame but yourself! If someone told you to hold your coins, you have a choice you will do it or not. Do not blame others because they told you. Blame yourself because you followed the wrong choice.
