Hi! Maybe any positive news or solved case regarding ETH refund from ETC wallet ?
I deposited 4 ETH to the wrong wallet back in 2017 and Yobit never responded to my support tickets. Well fast forward to 2023. I submitted another ticket and got a response within literally like 30 minutes from the admin refusing to credit me the funds. They are thieves. Evil evil evil. Almost $7.000 locked up. Here's the bastards response below. They call it a security issue. I'm so furious. These people are creeps and so evil, so wicked. I wanted to share this for anyone still holding out hope. "2023-02-16 13:49:12 dominikherzog Yobit generates a separate deposit addresses because of security requirements. Yobit will not cross-chain credit your account." Be aware many of their coins cannot withdraw. I have waiting to see if they open Namecoin withdraws for more than 5 years now. See chat from yesterday: okika: blendeded, what's the problem?
blendeded L1: okika, I need to withdraw NMC. Currently the Deposits and Withdrawals are under maintenance. boydcyr2 mentioned that the issue is likely that your NMC wallet is unable to connect to a node. I have sent a link where you can pickoff any of a number of active NMC nodes. Please all I need is withdrawals open...dont need deposits
okika: Sorry, it will never open again. If Yobit has issues with a wallet that has no wide global market, it will be offline forever. You can sell your NMC here for withdrawable crypto, that's all you can do.
m2x1m: blendeded, NMC, what an ancient coin! I remember it was in the top of coinmarketcap ten years ago but now it doesnt look alive...
tubiti L0: Buy nè
tubiti L0: Dice dominikherzog: blendeded, you can spam in chat with years. this status will stay forever
blendeded L1: dominikherzog, So yobit allows you to trade extremely low liquidity coins but doesnt allow you to withdraw them, instead forces you to sell those low liquidity coin back to who??? Why would anyone buy coins that they will NEVER be able to withdraw????
blendeded L1: dominikherzog, How is that NOT a scam?
blendeded L1: Why would you not open up withdrawals??? I've even said I was willing to pay a dev to open up withdrawals for the entire yobit community...and if the issue was syncing with nodes, I've sent a list of ACTIVE nodes. It would take a dev 30mins of time to get this activated
blendeded L1: Why would you not help out one of your customers with this more than reasonable request???
okika: blendeded, listen well. Yobit is an exchange. Does not care with scam trading possibilites of dying coins. I found only one exchange that trades NMC for ZAR, I think it's South Afarica's fiat money. So you NMC is DEAD!!! And for yobit simply not worth to pay to the tech guys for your PERSONAL request. Grow up and move on!
maciocia: okika, amen
okika: blendeded, I also wish some changes here but it is not my exchange. I'm a Robotrade and Autorobo user, my wish is the the robot reinvest just half of the profit, the other half would stay on balance. So this wish is only my deal, so I must sit on my ass and take those tiny profits from order to order. I choose to be thankful for robotrade. Be thankful that you can trade NMC here.
Yanadia: okika, +1
blendeded L1: okika, can you explain to me why would you trade NMC if you cannot possibly withdraw it? Even IF NMC delivered on its mission of decentralizing DNS, you wouldnt ever be able to USE that NMC you bought. KNOWING THAT, who would then buy your bag EXCEPT a greater fool?
okika: blendeded, 90% of the coins here are offline. And it does not matter because people buy and sell it. And if I could withdraw NMC what can I do with it after? No service for NMC to buy anything with it. Most of my profits here was by offline and many times free coins. I withdraw only when I have to buy food. And NMC is not the one for that. But it has living market here, so you can buy and sell with profit.
okika: blendeded, Seriously my main question: what would you do with NMC if you could withdraw?
aarvik85 L0: YOVI dead?
bitter L0: huh
Tomasz: aarvik85, ZEC, on the other hand, is alive and well
blendeded L1: okika, register names!!! That's the point of having NMC. Now what's the point of buying a coin that you CANT withdraw? Who, but a total an utter fool, would buy such a coin from such an exchange????
okika: Just look around here, the whole Yobit is about that. If you want to use NMC for domain register, or darkweb shit, go to altcointrader dot co dot za and by it for yourself. Yobit is about profit making, so not for you, good bye.

I believed that the website's closure was a result of multiple scam allegations and the negative reputation they had accumulated over time. In addition to the fact that I didn't get notifications for a while because I had an old Yobit account since 2017. The fact that Yobit is still in use and that people are still using it surprises me greatly. Why is that massive scam project still in operation even though it has been proven to be a scam? Who is behind it?

One of the mysteries of the universe: how and why is Yobit even still alive? @renee25 just bumped a 3-year-old post. However, I don't understand if people are so retarded that they don't do a basic search about them before they send a single cent there.

However, I don't understand if people are so retarded that they don't do a basic search about them before they send a single cent there. I thought they didn't even exist anymore; given the many scam allegations against them, I assumed the owner would fear arrest and simply vanish. It seems they are quite bold though I must confess, I’m truly shocked to see that they currently hold the 145th position on CoinMarketCap, with a trading volume of $79,542,897.45 over the last 24 hours. I’d prefer to believe this volume is fake, because if it’s real, it just goes to show that many people place no value on their own money. So, I decided to check their website to see if there really are people who don't value their money and to my surprise: Unfortunately, they still have customers. I can’t believe the big scam exchange in the world still has users. how can anyone in this world use YoBit? The last time I used it many years ago, I submitted a support ticket that only got a response years later, I had already left the exchange and I only saw the email responding to my support ticket years later and it wasn’t even an email resolving my issue, but rather one informing me that they were looking into it. Scammers have a token called Yobit Token (YO), and here’s the funniest part: Price = $432.81 Market cap = $0 Volume (24h) = $20.82 Who would be crazy enough to buy this token at a price of $432.81? You don’t need to be a genius to realize that this is one of the biggest scam exchanges in the cryptocurrency world it has been operating as a scam for years. Honestly, it’s very strange that, to this day, no government has gone after them.

I was surprised when this thread about Yobit was active again, a few years ago I also had this Yobit account, after I thought that this exchange was not worth using because of many anomalies that occurred, I even forgot the password to access it. Surprisingly after I tried to look at this site, there were still active people. But I think it's all just an attempt to attract users who have just entered the Crypto World to fall victim to scammers.
I’m truly shocked to see that they currently hold the 145th position on CoinMarketCap, with a trading volume of $79,542,897.45 over the last 24 hours.
I also agree with you that the volume is fake. How can they have such a large volume, while the BTC/USD pairing is almost unmoved. If we look at the orderbook, the price is also not realtime

Since Yobit has been running continuously since 2014, its strange ppsition has been discussed over the past ten years. In my opinion, there are two main reasons this platform continues to function despite the criticism it received due to its lack of transparency and unavailable support channels: - Yobit is an ideal nokyc exchanger for users prefer to remain anonymous. Users may find it appropriate in a centralized market. - Some reviews [1] reveal that Yobit is the biggest cryptocurrency market ever, supporting over 9000 trading pairs. YoBit is an exchange that often flies under the radar. Yet, for those willing to dig a little deeper, YoBit holds some unique features that just might make it worth considering. I don't think I can consider those unique features; there are so many accusations that I don't want to be the next complainant if I go for these features alone. Reputation comes before these so-called unique features; Bitdegree did not even check or consider the reputation of the site to give it a 6-star rating.

I didn't see that rating of 6 stars that is so misleading. Those rating platforms can be a way to mislead people to use Yobit to this day. I expect there are a bunch of them and it won't surprise me that those are paid reviews because who would rate Yobit as a good exchange with 6 stars?
