It's only a matter of time. I wonder when the Coast Guard will be called up like they were as Air Marshals after 9/11.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.

Transactions can optionally carry transaction fees. Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get the fee. The Bitcoin client will sometimes force you to pay a fee when it thinks that no miner will accept your transaction otherwise.

The military and police are people too, and they have much more in common with the protesters than the rich. Anything remotely similar to what you're suggesting would cause a huge rift in ranks

Of course, there's always the option of pickin a fight abroad, and firin up that pesky 'draft' to get rid of all those noise-makers.

By law, as long as they don't do anything illegal, they can protest forever.

Yes this is true.

The US (my) government acts this way.

The US government warns and ATTACKS other countries for brutalizing their own citizen protesters who are in their streets protesting.

What are we doing?

Brutalizing our own US citizens who are protesting in our streets.
