What are you talking about ? There were several selloffs at various hours each in the 5.000-15.000 BTC range. There's no way to know it was a single person as opposed to multiple panic sells.

125k coins is not even worth half a million.

You can not roll a BitCoin, but you can rollback some. Cheesy

But it should be enough to cause a drastic fall in the exchanges given the small scale of the bitcoin economy

125k coins is not even worth half a million.

Aye, thank you, previous posters don't know maths.

Though it is unlikely there were enoguh buy orders holding at the previous 'price' to have absorbed all that at $500k in value. The 125k coins likely went for about $300k~ give or take $20k depending on what orders were in place to fill at the time.

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system. - GA
