Can someone find a persons location by his phone number?

I have a phone number of a person in Philippines and need to find his location. No other details beside the phone number.
 Is that possible? Please help

There are ways but most fall under the grey area of the law; not illegal but not encouraged either. If this is a criminal matter though, you can get the authorities involved who will be able to trace cellphone locations based on the pings the phone emits. If it’s not then solely using a mobile number is a little trickier.

its possible , as long as the sim card inserted to the phone has a gps .  even without gps , i think police uses a special gadget to trace the phone via voice call .

Try to find is there any Facebook, LinkedIn or other social accounts registered with the number

You should take legal route to find the person through the number. Like take the help of cyber police in your country.

You should go with the crime branch help to find the location about the person that is the best and leagl way to find the person.Or aybe ask the help from telecommunication company but most of the time they won't help because this is illegal to track the people without any warrant from the police.
