In case a block gets minted and sent out its no longer ready. This is only for you to not always unlock your wallet because being unsure what might happen.

Wow, I'd forgotten how much fun it is to watch a wallet syncing - with 3 around me, the joy is almost unbearable. (no, the fine art of sarcasm isn't quite dead yet.)

backup your wallet.dat guys I just lost 16 million in this update
You are on linux? We have changed the filenames to lowercase... :-) That was your problem. You've lost nothing... But a backup is always a good idea. Note that the name changes from "Zeitcoin" to "zeitcoin" on certain OSes will create a new directory for the chain and your wallet. You should copy your wallet and try to copy the blockchain (blk*.dat and the database directory) to the new directory. If the database is not being accepted just remove everything except your wallet. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

5 & 1/2 hrs later, I've synch'd 2 out of 3 wallets. (I did more-or-less 'clean installs' of the new version) One needed a restart, hung up with 6000+ blocks to go, now OK, balance OK (93.1 mill). 2nd (laptop) no probs at all, balance OK (a whole 900!) 3rd has needed 2 restarts so far, still has 170,000 blocks to go. (should be 32.2 mill) No wuckers, mates, the devs did their jobs, this wallet is not only rock-solid, it's damned sexy too ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I haven't updated to the new wallet yet. I just opened my wallet for the first time in a few days and I am in the middle of a mint fest right now. So I don't want to interrupt that. I did the math and I am in the middle of minting a cool 4.4K Zeit. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Yeah yeah, you big wigs laugh at my puny amounts, but I will take whatever I can get!
