I've been having a bit of trouble with Minersource and I thought that given that I've been unable to resolve it by normal channels, I'd try posting here.

I bought an antminer S1 back in January, and pre-paid for 4 months hosting. It's been fine, apart from a few outages that have normally been resolved in a few hours. The miner disappeared from my pool about 8 or 9 days ago. I emailed support@minersource.net, as I usually do, and got a reply back the following day saying that there was a problem with the PSU and it was being replaced.

This was the last communication that I've had, and despite repeated emails to support@minersource.net, as well as PMs to bobsag3 on here, I haven't had an update as to what is wrong and why my miner is no longer hashing.

It's not unusual for minersource to not reply to emails, but these are normally new-business enquiries which they're obviously not interested in (although a little bit of professionalism in replying would be nice, although I understand they are busy) but this is the first time that I've had a technical problem that has remained unresolved.

I also offered that if they were unwilling or unable to continue to host my miner for me, then they could ship it to me instead. Again, this has not been replied to.

Minersource, bobsag3 and thomas_s are well known and trusted in the community, so I don't really understand why this has happened. I don't think that they are scammers, but it does feel like they may have bitten off more than they can chew, in regard to servicing all of their customers in a professional manner.

With luck, having pointed this out publicly I may get a response and hopefully a resolution to my issue, but I feel as if I have run out of options.

I'd be happy to look into this if you can provide me with the email you used, your full name, and order number, I've tried searching our ticket system for gh2k and can't find anything.

Very easy. We ship 10-15 packages up north a week, without any problems.

We now have the Gridseeds in stock for immediate shipping! Not from China, ships from Denver, CO.

overall good experience ordering from these guys. They gave me an express upgrade with the price difference.

A quick question to you..
Was the IP of your s1 the same as the white label?

Mine was apparently came used from Bitmain ( i bought it from Minersource) the Ip on the s1 was 192.168.1.99 but it turned out to be 192.168.0.13  after using IP scanner.
I was told by Matt the following

All antminers come used from bitmain, and they come configured to BTC guild.

Matt
Minersource.net

I do wish they inform us about the IP changes and etc.. i paid some .015 btc to help me out..

S1's that leave Minersource are set to DHCP and will not have the same IP address as on the label, most if not all have the Mac address listed on the front to find the IP. Otherwise hitting the reset button will put it back on 192.168.1.99

Our new webstore is live!

https://www.minersource.net

Visit our new setup guides, and information links:
http://minersource.net/pages/miner-setup-guides

Our old spree store can be found:
oldstore.minersource.net

We have moved all customer data over from the previous 2 systems, we are now in the process of moving over the preordered and fufilled item orders. We decided about 3 weeks ago it was better to abandon the existing platform and move to something that meets all of our needs. We will be constantly tweaking and expanding, so it can only get better from here.

As a special promo, first 25 orders on the new site can get 5% off with promo code:

We welcome all feedback.
