So there will be two different coins..? Menapay and Menacash..? I got confused in that part. Can someone explain that..?

I only read the first page of the one pager linked in the first post. Not clear at all that there are Mena tokens and coins.

Guess what, on the second page of the one pager ( Roll Eyes) there is indeed a MenaCash stablecoin, as well as a MenaPay token which is the thing you can invest in for $0.165 a piece.

To answer my own question: no, I do not get a $1 token coin thing for $0.165. I get a $0.165 token that maybe can be exchanged with $1 stablecoins at whatever market price the token has at that time.

The one-pager? You should check whitepaper to get detailed information about the project. But still, even in the whitepaper, there are some confusing areas and they should edit it with more definite sentences i must say.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

What is then the purpose of the token which is not a stablecoin? If the other coin is stable pegged to 1$ i could simply use that and disregard the the other one?

Soft cap 5,000,000 USD
Hard cap 25,000,000 USD
-
5 Million a large sum, what will happen if during ICO project fails to raise 5 million? and I also want to know what you plan to do with unsold tokens?

In the current economy 5 million is a little too much to ask for a soft cap i think. I guess they will see how the private sale goes and then maybe reconsider about their soft cap.

It's quite interesting that the MENA region doesnt have a non-bank payment system yet and I guess they ought to capitalize with it. This project really have a huge potential.

maybe they have private investors that they haven't disclosed yet. it would be nice for us to know.

For a utility token, you are right. But they are offering dividends which is more valuable than utility tokens so 5m $ is something not extreme to ask.

What dividends you mean? They offering dividends from payment platform profit? And if you will have dividends, thats mean that they have security tokens?

I think they are going to legalise their company . Otherwise dividend and securities will create problems.

Basically yes to both. you can only pay dividends if you make profit and if you pay dividends to token holders the tokens would indeed be security tokens.

So is this like PayPal for crypto?  So far I saw pundix,  coss and utrust trying to do that but I don't see tangible results so far

Coss too? Seriously? ...Well this is for very specific region. I would not call it a paypal tbh

Their original idea was to deliver a one stop platform for crypto, means and exchange and a payments gateway but they're struggling on doing the first one and they don't even developing the second

To my knowledge yes. Yet they are claiming the Menapay token to be an utility token. I am either missing something or it's going to be a security token.

This idea is not new, as we see projects trying to make it into reality .. but if the team is confident in their abilities, and will be able to bring this idea to the end, then they will be successful.

By reading the whitepaper I understand that they want to build it on top of Ethereum but they mention MenaChain which will be used for transactions, so they will build it on Ethereum or on the almost private chain they mention?

You are right, this can be useful project for all crypto, this idea can help increase capitalization and simplify the current situation with money turnover.

If they play their cards right, they will succeed but we all know competition is fierce in this field so they really have to do their best. The market for crypto payment is huge and no one seem to make that leap yet, lest hope menapay can be the first one.

Yeah, the idea is good, the only question is in what way they will realize it. I am pretty sure that someone would soon find the way of balancing properly between crypto and fiat.
