Can we get a list going of current ltc pools and avg hashrate?

litecoinpool.dyndns.org 1.9 MH/s
ozco.in 0.51 MH/s
pool-x 0.31 MH/s
private 0.1 MH/S
other 1.56 MH/s

these numbers from http://litecoin.kicks-ass.org/graphs/graphs.html

Are those the only pools going? 1.56 MH/s smells rather like another pool than a bunch of solo miners.

Actually no I really think those are solo miners. (and people with a cluster, network or something if there are any)

As long as you are getting at least a block a week I can't see the necessity of mining at a pool and a lot of people probably too.

litecoin.miningpool.com  0.284 MH/s .  I guess we're part of the "other" at the moment. Come join and help us hop over the 0.3Mh/s level. Maybe we can get a listing as part of the pie-graph then.   Smiley

I am really happy to see the Litecoin pools up.. though I would like to make a couple comments to the pool ops.

First... Stability... I have been on two pools just testing out network speed and been dropped off by the pool going down.

Second.. fix your stats. It takes a day to fix most pool stats right now. Be sure to have backups for quick fallback.. no reason a page should be messed up for hours.

Third... Get yourself a domain name or something more concrete. You want to run your pool from your house.. fine. but some of us would like something connected 99.9% of the time.

I know these stats are not totally correct on the pie. Specially litecoinpool .. the numbers are all over the board.

I assume #3 is a cheap shot at my pool at http://184.107.145.244  It has a dyndns address if you prefer something you can remember. Otherwise hit CTRL+B in your browser.

But, who is running out of their house? I doubt any of the LTC pools are. Check out the IP in whois. This is running on a dedicated server with a 1 gig pipe. Not some home connection. Look at the server load. Low. And a load average off of top: load average: 0.05, 0.09, 0.08

My pool isn't dropping any users. If any of the other pools need help with some ideas to get this more reliable, feel free to PM me.

I want to see your speedtest.net screen shot showing you have a 1 gig connection from comcast. That is completely unbelievable.

Numbers are fixed son. Go check them out. The problem was when the round reset I wasn't pulling the last time from the DB for the calculation. I was just using a standard 5 minute time stamp. Updated and nice and pretty now.

So, 2 and 3 were at me. Two is fixed, and three is your personal preference. It's not hosted at home, and as I mentioned before, I doubt anyone elses is. Ozcoin has or is working on getting a second dedicated server. This is industrial level equipment.

Honestly I wish I had a 1 gig to the internet.. I would be a happy little monkey Smiley

You addressed the other issues.. just like other pools are addressing theirs..

this doesn't just go for the current pools.. but future pulls just the same.. this is the point i am trying to make.

At the time of writing, we have 1.1 Mhash.

At the time of writing, that chart says we have 1.35 Mhash. That chart isn't correct.

At the time of writing, uknown has .15.

My pool solved 20 blocks during a one hour period. Is that more or less than 1 / 2 of the network? Help me with the math since you are so much better at it.

Do some pretty numbers on the site mean you solve more or less blocks? Blocks solved speak for themselves. All the other pretty ribbons and fancy bells mean nothing.

And FYI, we publish every TXID on the LTC that we solve. You're more than welcome to do the same. Then the charts could do a 24/7 effective hashrate. Would be much more accurate if you would be involved in that.

true might be problem with that chart anyway its pulling from your api/site ... i havent checked up on if they report what chart says but meh Smiley

and that your pool solved 20 blocks in one hour thats pretty easy to calc was there only 40 blocks in that hour ?... wich hour ? Smiley

and unknown is solo miners + unknown pools seems unlikely to only be ,15

and it seems chart is catching up its .21 now or your pool started making more sense .... yours is only pool with variance to cause it

so why is it i shuld do the math ? Smiley you could put just a tiny piece of math here to proove you where right Smiley instead of just trowing out been 20 blocks in random hr

bout the txid there no problem in doing so Smiley would be a good idea alrdy link to it from stats pages and working on extended api

How does your pool calculate hash rates? Mine is based on the number of shares submitted. That fluctuates. If half the network has a lucky period, that chart will fluctuate. Yes.

Please friend, don't have penis envy. Just make your pool better and make people use yours. It really won't hurt my feelings. I put up the pool because no one else had immediate plans to. Now I do it because it is fun. Mining solo I hit getinfo non stop to find a block. Now that I run a pull I execute Select * from PoolBlocks Order By BlockNumberId. I probably do as many sql queries on the database as the miners do!!

Unknown now has .57 and the pools rates have hardly changed. I think it's the way the charts is calculating total network power. Add them all up and it is almost 1 mhash lower than allchains.info

Now it has .91 and the pool rates still haven't changed. I said before, I fixed my hash rate. It's fixed. So settle down unless you're mining on mine. That would be real embarrassing since you run your own.

as of llitecoind version 40104 theres a command to get the network hashpersec ... i doubt allchains is using but i know the charts are .. that might be the cause of the problem Smiley ill mention on #litecoin see what happens ...

and yuh looking the blocks seems youre right so might be issue with how the client calculates the totalhashrate

rest of post(s) ill pretend didnt read, my pool doing fine .... i donated to that graph is all along with quite a few others and wanna improve upon litecoin network oh well
