Alibaba applied for the most in China so far, even though its CEO, Jack Ma, is a public hater of cryptocurrencies. https://cryptocoin.news/news/blockchain-news/why-jack-mas-alibaba-is-championing-blockchain-in-china-17847/

It appears that for lots of companies, the tech is quite impressive but the cryptocurrencies not so much? Hmm, talk about conflict of interest :p

I think IBM has applied for highest number of patents in 2017 including blockchain technology

Worldwide? Alibaba won in China but that's awesome Smiley

Next year will be the year where we can see what this technology can offer on an enterprise level
