If anyone experiences that during a huge drop in prices, that's on them.  In my opinion it's silly to sell anything when the market crashes.  No one makes money buying high and selling low, right?  The ones who do this are driven by fear and that is toxic to any trader.  There are a lot of trading novices here.  Sometimes it's amusing, other times it kind of makes you wonder why they're even in the market.  It's a rookie mistake that they don't ever seem to learn from.

I got some altcoins and ICO token last April I sold them for almost $500 not knowing the price increases that would make the said price for almost $1500 and more, the price fluctuates and decreases in the present but the fact that I insisted to sell is a bad choice to make given that a potential crypto can raise anytime, don't be deceived the spreaders of fud if you knew that the project or the altcoin is legitimate instead treat this dip as a sale run.

I agreed with what you said because only few people are into cryptocurrency market/investment have the act of waiting patiently and checking the market price could beef up into panic selling. However, this time is the best time for buying not selling if not for emergency purpose.
