All of the complaining about those who got rich on Bitcoins because they were in on it early can end now.

We are all early adopters at this point. When it was at $17/BTC people were pining for the days when the price was $1-$2/BTC.

People will look back on this price and wish again that they had bought at the dip. Bitcoin is here to stay, the technology is sound and has proven itself.

If it is just the tiniest of chunks of the US dollar currency, it would need to be worth several thousand dollars per Bitcoin in order to sustain its use.

With banks starting to charge just to make a transaction, their customers will seek alternatives.

Bitcoin is that alternative.

First seastead company actually selling sea homes: Ocean Builders https://ocean.builders  Of course we accept bitcoin.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

The Amish seem to have their own mafia, so soon they have computers. Once that happens, Bitcoin will go back up, up, up.

agreed!

bitcoin is here to stay, regardless of "stock price".

You now have a chance to be an early adopter. True prices are due to keep dropping, but we will only be at the very bottom for a few minutes. once a panic buy happens the sky is the limit.

you might be saying it not possible for prices to ever go over 20$ again....

" who will be dumb enough to buy bitcoins at 20$? "

if i can trade 1 btc for a 20$ gift... 1 btc is worth 20$, its not over valued... its simply its valued.

on one wants to use their investment just to buy a RC helicopter. instead they will simply buy bitcoin at current market value and use those to shop.

Very good observation.
What's really funny is all those complaining about the early adopter issue are those that are probably abandoning the project during these times.
This whole experience sure has made me appreciate the early adopter more. They got everything they deserved.

Right, they took the real money out of the system, and now all that's left is some worthless tulips/stamps/digital tokens of worthlessness/etc.

How sound will it be when the hash rate drops to 1/10th of what it used to be?

The botnets are growing and they will always be around. In fact, they will probably evolve into a subscription service.  Cheesy

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.
