The Ethereum team, including its leader, have a history of taking things too lightly. So when someone points out at inconsistencies and details they tend to become nervous. Their Casper protocol is advertised all the time, but the implementation is being delayed over and over again. Hoskinson has every right to be pedantry in rebutting the whitepaper, because if the ETH protocol is flawed, a lot of money will be at stake.

It does seem at times that all Ethereum team is doing is trying to pump ETH by promising casper and plasma. I do hope they will eventually fulfill their promises.

We cannot say this that ETH is getting destroyed by ADA. Both are getting knocked down by the current market conditions. Once the current market conditions improve only then we will be able to see and compare their performances.

It is difficult to say what will happen in the future, but in the near future ADA will not be more popular than ethereum, now many projects are being built in the ethereum network, but ADA has very good potential.

You have a misunderstanding. One needn't destroy another for prospering and can co-exist together.
If you are comparing cardano an ethereum as a token for sidechain infrastructure platform than ethereum has years of expertise while cardano is still to get into market.
Let cardano be built and then we can deduct and compare them.

The Ethereum is too popular now and it already has a working product which is improving. I do not understand why Cardano is needed when there is an Ethereum, NEO and many other blockchain platforms.

Cardano is superior technology and the coins you have mentioned will become less popular!
