The coins you are trading if it keeps going down then you can save the situation by converting it into  Tether without getting out of the market. When the market recovers you can buy back your coins.

Hello !

Should I sell my altcoins , and switch to usdt , and buy when it will be lower ?
Thanks in advance

Always i tell to all want to invest or sell their coins the decision is in the holders, the advice of the members herein forum are a guide of you to decide properly of your coins.

I think your strategy is long term trade so depends on you, altcoins as of now is in the lower value if you think your experience not cut off loses go ahead sell your coins.

this is a doubtful payment unit, which is only needed on some exchanges and it is unreliable, I would not have kept a lot of money in it

if I myself would not sell my assets just to move it to USDT alone, because in my opinion the altcoin would be more profitable than USDT, so I only save altcoin at this time

Prices of most ALT are already low.
So at the moment it's close to the bottom, and you don't know when you're going to get to the bottom, so I think the best thing to do is hold on.

Yes, it is not a good suggestion to covert them to USDT because right now the prices are very low in the market and it is not a good advice to convert them into USDT value.

I think the value is the same if you exchange it now, but if you exchange altcoin with USD when the price is rising or pumped, then you will get multiple assets when you buy back the altcoin when it's cheap.

I think that is a good strategy but make sure you have a profit in the portfolio first. If you are losing money, do not sell it. Please continue to hold. In addition, you can add more capital to buy some potential altcoins that are likely to be pumped in October.

well usdt it's quite stable for a past few bear market months, but i think it's not a wise choice to ride usdt in the next bullrun. even dash was better than usdt

In August, it makes no sense to sell their altcoyins and exchange them for USDT, because now the price of our coins and tokens fell by 70 percent or more. At the beginning of the fall of the crypto-currency market, this still made sense, but not now. Now we are waiting for the rise of the crypto-currency market and at the same time raising the price of our crypto currency. Therefore, it is unprofitable to sell crypto currency.

I think that in any case it is necessary to have in usdt portfolio in the amount of 10 percent, given how volatile our market is.

If you are already in alts and you are long-term holder it is a little bit late to sell all alts. IMHO we can see recover at the end of this year and nobody knows when it will happen.

Converting to USDT would have been a good strategy several months ago when the market was going into free fall, but now it is quite pointless unless you are doing short / day trading. If you're a hodler, just invest in the right alts and leave it until the bull run returns, then you will see some great gains

yes when the market gets too bad the safe way to avoid loosing profit is selling tokens into USDT, by  switching to USDT we can have money to buy more tokens at the lowest price and huge profit when the market recovers. So in many ways using USDT in many cases will bring us safer chance than other methods.
