Hi, I just wanted to know what your habits on this forum are - there are so many posts that I feel one can easily get lost. How do you consult posts on a regular basis?

Newer topics or topics that has new replies tend to be on the top in default, so I read those most of the time, aaaand that's pretty much it. Feel free to go to the 2nd/3rd/4th/etc pages if you feel like reading more. Which subforums/forum sections? It depends on which are you most interested in.

Start from stickies from Beginners & Help as you are new and need to learn the things you need to know now or in the future. And then start reading the threads below stickies. Later on you might want to read the topics in Meta as anything about the forum is discussed there and you will learn quite a lot of things if you are a good reader from there too. Once you learn the rules and regulations and things you need to avoid, you can go to any section and start reading extra things to increase your knowledge about everything in the crypto universe.

Hey. I think the best asset you can use is patience. You will discover that the forum is a really huge place, so let yourself discover it step by step.
There are many boards in here, and all depends on what are you interested in.
As said, I seconded the piece of advice of reading Meta from time to time for, in there, you will be able to understand what are the concerns about the forums and the related policies discussions necessary to taking care of the actual state of things in here.

Besides, you have some other amazing boards, like the tech discussions ones, where you will learn a lot about the crypto ecosystem.
But be patient. This is the golden rule.

I suggest that after you have found the sections that interest you , read pinned post. The pinned posts in every section probably has answers to questions you might want to ask. You may read a couple of threads started by other members(not moderators or staff) to be abreast of current issues in the crypto space.

Reading new topics is much enjoyable and would learn new information that you haven't know. I read new topics rather than the old ones because most of the old topics will be replaced by the new ones and that will take your time finding the specific topic you were looking for but there's a way on getting notifications from a topic by pressing notify button near the reply button.

Choose your interest and if you decided on what you think will benefit you most, try to stay there for awhile and read info's / threads that you can adopt.

Ok that's some nice advice. I did scroll through the meta forum but it's too meta for the time being

I just kind of pick and choose recent front page topics and then when I find one that is interesting enough I click the WATCH button to add it to my watchlist. Or I use the Google Search option (in the tabs to the left: <home> <help> <search> ... to seek out topics that I am interested in and do the same with the watchlist.  When I login, I first go to my watchlist to see if anything new or interesting is there in those threads - and then just browse around a bit at unread thread titles (which is how I found your question BTW).

Its easy solution to that. Choose sections that interest you personally. I like helping new people on forums mostly, so im in begginers section most of the time. Sometimes i join discussion in general discussion section.
Im skipping sections with 90% of spam like offtopic etc.

Choose what section you enjoy and focus on that

It is impossible to read all the threads inside this community, there is always a new topic created every minute concerning different topics. If you want of a more technical discussion about bitcoin then go for Btc&Tech discussion, if you just want to spam then go for Bitcoin and Alts Section, if you prefer to know how this community works then for meta and Serious Disc. Section.

Pick which section you are really interested to avoid unnecessary posts.
