About ten minutes ago, only the top part of pages were loading up, and when they finally did quotes now don't seem to be working / showing up and the colours and sizes of peoples signatures have disappeared? Weird.

Quotes were also not working but they appear to be now.  I think they changed something in the matrix.

Yeah, quotes now seem to be working, but signatures are still tiny and colourless.

Perhaps the allowed signature styling should change with activity score / membergroup. Like:
- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 40 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 100 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed

Then newbies will be less effective advertisers, which would hopefully significantly reduce the incentive for low-content posts. And when people become capable of effectively advertising through their signatures, they'll have invested a lot of time into their accounts, and they won't risk being banned by spamming.

Sir Theymos is changing the sig rules. Check the other thread about disallowing signatures.

I think it will stay. And if it doesn't help with the spam theymos can always change it so that only Hero Members would be able to have links in their sigs, or something like that.

I think it could work, though the signatures are really tiny at the moment.

So how long till we get threads in Meta from newbs saying why can't I have colours in my sig?

Don't know if you noticed, the ads between posts (paid ones) lost the formatting after your modification. You might want to keep them as they were.

Right now all I can see is the "bitcoin mixer". Earlier on there were some other that used only formatted text and those changed along with the signatures.

Yeah, the Bitcoin Mixer one is fine, but another one I saw was unreadable/unintelligible.

How? Activity is limited to 14 every 2 weeks no matter how many posts you make.
