Gridseed on its way to Los Angeles

Hi,

Some of you already know that after Jack gave me so much shit I was force to go and buy directly from gridseed. My 1st order is on the plane on it's way to Los Angeles, California and expected to hit LAX this weekend.

Accesories such as hub, power supply for the units , cables will arrive in the next 2 weeks but the main dish will be here in 72 hours or less.


I want to thank all the members that help me to set up the cpuminer and thanks to every one that supported me by pre-ordering/prepaying to get the ball rolling.

They are 500 chips order but only 200 arriving this weekend by air and the others will by send via EMS, some savings.

Please forgive me for not noticing the answer to my question if it's in another thread already.  But...

I understand that Gridseed makes the Scrypt ASICs, but do they also fabricate complete boards using these chips?  Why is anybody buying from asiabtc if they could go to Gridseed instead?

Hey i remember your  post from jacks thread. I got the run around as well.

What would you be thinking for pricing of an La6m equivalent? I would be very interested.

The last I had read was you were planning on selling these at cost?  At cost for an order that size should be around $160 per unit?  Unless they raised prices that is a pretty big markup?

Keep in mind the cost to ship, import and customs expenses and the cost to ship them to you.

They are $160 cost in China, once they leave China that is a very different story.

I'll take 50 units from anyone who can deliver them in the U.S. for under $200 today!

I never say at cost my friend, i'm on business to make a profit. Please show to the community when or where I say at cost.

I've been following your posts and you only said you'll match the lowest competitor price.  Which I think your $225 per 60 is certainly in line with.

I don't begrudge you your markup, but hey everybody is always looking for a deal...

If my 40 units weren't already sitting in customs in LA waiting to be delivered tomorrow I would have definitely bought from you and saved myself over a grand.  *shrug*  I'll let these start working down their ROI and maybe get in on the next group buy in a month or two (especially if any new hardware is developed).
