I think at some point other digital currency will be introduced which will be more steady (bankcontrolled) and more accepted worldwide by banks, nations and dropping the price of btc to $300 2 years from now.

Asking how much Bitcoin will be in 1-2 years time is like asking what the weather will be like then  . Nobody knows and any answer people give you will be pure speculation based on absolutely nothing, but Bitcoins will be worth exactly one million dollars each by then  .

I would have to agree with Kirsten.

Governments like their own currency, bankers like it more. However China was once pushing for a global currency, which BTC is.
I don't think it will be long before an 'official' digital currency appears. Maybe iSpend or something equally daft from Apple.
