It depends on what kind of website you are planning to launch. If it’s meant to be general crypto info hub I would suggest/like to see following:

- basic info about projects , maybe for top 100 coins to start with - e.g. website, white paper, social media accounts, github, explorer and similar links
- maybe you could add project ATH values and their respective current retracement
- basic event calendar- nothing too detailed, but at least the most important info like mainnet/testnet launches, roadmap stages of products etc
- news feed that is feeding info fro  social media accounts of listed products from my first point
- masternode info section similar to masternodes.online
- ico section similar to icodrops
- airdrop section
- bounty section

You could add those sections as different menu tabs on the top or side bar of the site. with each tab linking to different subdomain, e.g. masternodes.yoursite.com  You could (with time) end up having News, Calendar, Masternode, ICO, Airdrop, Bounty tabs on your menu. I think this would take months to build, but at least you would have clear plan where you are headed.

Hope this is not too much to do, if you could implement at least some of these features to your site, it would make it great source of info for your readers.

Hope this helps

what type of content you want to focus on your site. Because the crypto market is very large and therefore its news is also very large. You need to focus at one or two specific fields, ICO, airdrop and bounty, price analysis, news...

As far as I understood, you want to open a website which will be informative? I have two suggestions:

1. ICO Listing Website
Now there are lots of companies which list their ICOs and are looking for relevant websites.

2. Informative Website
You can have a website with good content for those interested in Blockchain

The first thing you need to decide is the main theme for the site. Then you need to try to find a decent domain name for it.
Once you have got that, then you need to purchase a decent hosting plan.

I seem to start a new website every week, and I'm experimenting with a variety of CMS for them

This blog type site uses b2evolution - https://talkmerit.com/the-source/index.php
This is a forum style site using SMF - http://fittotalk.com/english-talk/index.php
Here is a question and answer site using Q2A - https://jetcash.com/ask-a-legendary/

I got a lot more examples, and at the moment I'm working on a private virtual asset trading room.

Using a CMS or predefined template is useful. More and more crypto users are surfing with mobiles, so you need to build a responsive site.

Offgrid campers allow you to enjoy life and preserve your health and wealth.
Save old Cars - my project to save old cars from scrapage schemes, and to reduce the sale of new cars.

You can add a tool which they can pick their coins and see  gains and loss each time they enter the site, I think it is good.

Hello Experts

I want to launch a website related to crypto..need suggestions

I have already latest news and crypto data in my website but want to know what kind of features will be interesting for the users related crypto ..
Please share your valuable opinions pls and please list out the features here pls

There are lots (really a lots) of crypto related websites and blogs roaming around the web now so thinking what would be the interesting features that might get the interest of the visitors must be taken on brainstorming.

My suggestion, just follow what's on your mind and see if the idea of yours will give a decent result. As much as possible throw several ideas into an actual to see the result in action. Goodluck.

May I ask what the goal(s) for your site is/are resp. do you have a plan to reach the said goal(s)? As was already mentioned, there are a lot of sites that are more or less decently made. So what makes your site special and why should a visitor come to your site and even more important: why would he come back? Without a concept there is really nothing to do for us, listing some suggestions won't help.

Good for you that you want to get busy with a website, before diving straight in is to do some research on what it is that you actually want to do with your website, and who it is that you are targeting.

Its all well and good wanting to make a website about crypto but you have to remember that there are millions of crypto related websites out there and to stand out from the crowd will take some serious work.

What you are best off doing is to find something that interests you within crypto and concentrate on your chosen 'niche' and build your content around that. I will be honest, if its just a crypto news website it will be lost in amongst all of the other websites that have been running for a long time with lots of content.

Pick a niche, a specific coin, mining, trading tips, a favourite exchange, a favourite wallet, basically, something that you are passionate about, and tailor your content to your chosen niche.

This will give you a better chance at standing out from the crowd.

Advice: I'd have a look at learning some basic SEO to get started, without this you will struggle. I donn't say this to discourage you. Its just being realistic and will help you in your pursuit!  Grin

Good luck!

well what's your goal with the site? to make money? referring people to different exchanges? ads? there's sooooo many sites out there already that are just the same thing as any other, if you can't offer something unique and if you are in it for money, there are surely better things to do!

As others mentioned above, there are several crypto related websites that are already doing a pretty good job. The question you have to ask yourself is what are you going to offer to the public that is different from the rest? Similar functionalities from other sites but in an easier-to-use way? Are you going to create it for the knowledgeable people in crypto or new people in crypto, or both?

To create a website you first need to understand what is your goal and then what is your scope. To ensure that along the line, during the creation of the site, you don't deviate from your main goal.

It depends on how large-scale your project is. After all, even just a news portal can be an excellent and quite self-sufficient resource, if you make good navigation, ungroup everything correctly, add discussions, comments and so on. And, on the contrary, if the site contains many different but unfinished features with many restrictions, nothing good will come of it. It is better then to use several sites, aimed at something specific. Nevertheless, I can suggest such directions for further development (if they are not included yet):

1. Lists of bounties, airdrops, token sales with users' estimates and/or comments. Grouping / filtering / searching by topics, tags, number of participants, task variants, etc.

2. A list of crypto related projects with users' estimates and/or comments.. Search / grouping by the project's duration, fees on the ICO, topics, country, etc.

3. Forum (discussions) on different crypto topics.

4. Expert Council. Hire technical specialists who will answer users' questions.

5. FAQ/Guides on common tasks and questions with good filtering/search parameters.

6. Subscribe to news or updates in specific sections.

7. Tool (interface) for integration of several digital wallets to track funds and manage transfers between them.

"basic event calendar" suggested by biggNY will be a useful feature too.

And yes, there are already numerous similar websites, but I believe if you will make and keep your one easy to use, complete and up-to-dated, and spend enough for its marketing, you will have a chance to do something good.

The website should contain useful information, news which are regularly updated, so that users have a reason to come back. I think you would probably need a couple of professional freelance authors for that.

Make it active, allow comments and support the discussions. Though, I would not agree with previous comments that you need a separate forum section.

There are plenty of crypto websites and you have to go one step ahead to be successful.

I agree with them on what type of crypto website you are focusing with. As you mentioned that you have some latest news and crypto data(what's this?).

Since technical analysis articles are becoming popular, give a portion of your news on how you can see the current market. Well at least give a day to day advice or pick someone that's very well experience in this field. I hope that your website isn't to be a place for people who are looking of what ICO to invest.

I really believe that before you plan to create this kind of website then you have a vast knowledge regarding cryptocurrencies and investments because I can see many people online looking where to put their hard earned money I therefore suggests to make a weekly or daily articles on your site on what cryptocurrency they can invest like dividend tokens It can attract some good amount of visitors if you got some interesting reviews and suggestions.

Good advices here. Main theme of website is crucial. You want to make some needed specific website, not some generic one in 10000 websites that would be hard to attract clients.
Good domain name can also help but its not crucial i think.

Well one of the best asset you have to offer are solid articles not just some fake new because it has a lot of bad effects on crypto and also take a fundamental knowledge about blockchain and crypto to help new investors to have backgrounds before investing or participate related to crpytocurrency

It is not easy to compete for bitcoin news with the big magazines like Cointelegraph or Coindesk. It is better to focus on something smaller and less competitive.
