My forum Activity stuck on 112 last 30 days. I very often on the forum, and last 7 days i have over 100 posts, but activity is frozen on 112.
I heard from a few people that have the same problem.

Activity only gets updated once every 2 weeks and will increase by a maximum of 14 each time if you've exceeded an average of 1 post per day for more than 14 days.

Ok. Thanks for info.

I read this:
"The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every 30 minutes."

here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

It seem that I figured something wrong

It seem that I figured something wrong

time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
You've posted during 8 two-week periods.
Therefore, for you, time=8

You've posted 343 times so far.
Therefore, for you, posts=343

min() returns the lesser of the two values.

time * 14 = 112
posts=343

min(112,343) = 112

Your activity is therefore 112.

After 14 days, time will be 9
9 * 14 = 126

min(126,343) = 126

So after 14 days your "activity" will increase by 14 from 112 to 126.

This will continue once every 14 days (as long as you post at least once during those 14 days), until time * 14 is greater than posts.

"Activity" should be a code that more accurately reflects ranges of participation, for example:

AAAA - 1st 'A' means year+ forum member, 2nd 'A' means posted every month in current calendar year, 3rd 'A' means posted x range of post this week, and the 4th 'A' means they posted multiple times today.

so:

AFFF - would mean you're an old lazy fart,
ADDF - would mean meds are overdue

The activity code only serves to annoy and or confuse it should be removed.

you haven't been active then, your activity increases only once every 2 weeks if you have made at least 1 post and while your post count is greater then your activity..
