The rhetorics of your OP is like asking if you will travel by air to the far east again because of the air crashes. ICOs will ever be. What you need to do is due diligence study of ICOs and especially, the promoters.

One thing I notice is that some managers have distinguished themselves in managing successful campaigns. So start your study from the manager of the project. Look at what the ICO want the funds for. Then, the executives of the project, are they on social media? What is there pedigree?

Participating in ICO has become unpredictable these days. How much ever good the whitepaper is, seeing the volatile market and ETH as well as BTC price falling, the raised Income getting effected also large number of ICO's have failed miserably.

It's quite true that most of the ICOs turn out to be scam or never get listed on exchanges. This is terrible and ruins the trust of people over the ICOs.
Due to this reason many people have stopped investing in ICOs and hence the potential ICOs are not able to gain as much amount of money as they could have. There are still many potential ICOs developing. I am particularly waiting for Yutu.co.in ICO to start as it has a great concept and it must be the next potential ICO.

There are lots of promising ICO projects and some of them are really good and world-changing.ICOs have the potential to create a lot of wealth quickly for people.
But be careful about what ICOs you choose to invest in and never invest more than you can afford to lose there have been countless scams run through ICOs and thousands of people have lost their money.
