If i buy coins on smaller exchange i transfer them to separate wallet al leaving tokens on such exchange is dangerous.

If i need to sell them for BTC or ETH i send it back and transfer to ETH or BTC wallet adress.

If i hold coin or token i can wait they got on bigger exchanges and then sell them there.

I bought a coin on my country INDODAX exchange. So far I have no problems with withdrawals, deposits and storage. Everything is smooth and safe. But the coins listed on Indodax are not like the Binance and Bittrex big exchanges which list lots of coins traded.

I would recommend binance between the two but my top exchange will always be hitbtc. It's easy for me to navigate the site and what I like the most is the technical support team. They are active and willing to help their client. Never had an issue with transaction. I have a problem with my google authentication and  I can't fix it without their help. Also, I am lucky with Yobit because my bounty coins are getting listed their. No problem with that exchange as well.
Hitbtc has so many problems with a lot of customers i will not try to recommend this exchange site to the someone. Yobit is the worst exchange site ever i seen and so many scam coins have already listed on there. Remember Yobit has created its own coin too and it should be tagged as the scam exchange site. Any major exchange will be more preferable and those exchange sites like kucoin, bibox will be the best choice.

I will only suggest you at Binance. There are several coins that you can choose according to what you want. There are impressive crypto choices offered along with BTC, Ether, Bread Tether exchanger pairs. There are lots of coins available, almost around 100. And I think all the good altcoins, including Litecoin, Ripple and Bitcoin Cash, are on the list. Good luck and I think it's safe.

I do not register on small exchanges because I think they are less secure and just can completely lose all of their money
I am currently using a site that can be used in my country even though the transaction costs are quite large but security is guaranteed to date but I am sure and believe that someday everything will be better and progressing again

At which exchange do you buy which coins? Do you prefer to use the big ones like Binance / Bittrex? Or do you prefer the smaller ones for getting all shitcoins?

Personally I'm not registrated in smaller ones because I don't want to take the risk of losing my funds only to get every shitcoin...
On the YoBIT stock exchange there are a lot of different shitcoins, last year it was possible to buy for 1 satoshi and sell for 10 on the pump. But this year it's better not to take risks, it does not work in a falling market.
