What do you guys think about Ethereum Classic being added to Coinbase?

I think it is a worst thing happened. Ethereum classic was grown just for the hype it made but now it really dumps massively. There is no rise at all. So I don’t find any positive thing of this addition.

Actually etherem is so much dependent on bitcoin. Unless the price of bitcoin rises, it will continue to going downward. So partially it’s true that ethereum is a shitcoin because it’s dependent and has no supremacy over market.

It is very interesting choice in my opinion for Coinbase to pick ETC ahead of many good coins in the space. I heard from grapevine that is it because of Blockstream influence in the space that help ETC to get listed on the platform, we all know how the space work, it is all about who you know, it happens to with BCash team also, Roger Ver is a very influential person in the space

It’s really great. Ethereum classic price has increased but not that much as the market is downward so it will take time to get back in a stable position. But when the market will rise I hope it will be in a good position.

I am not a fan Ethereum classic. But i think getting listed on coinbase is really good for it. But i don't think it will do something good for Ethereum. Because Ethereum is already an established coin.

It is a very good news indeed. The price of the ethereum will now increase. And already it increased as far as I know. But the question is. will it last or not!

In my opinion any forked coin can not be better then the original, and we see that in all examples of all BTC fork coins. Also such coins can confuse users and they often buy wrong coin or send coins to wrong address (which is big problem on exchanges).

I see that ETC is launched on Coinbase PRO on August 7, and it will take 1 or 2 weeks to be added to Coinbase. By what I see price on August 7 was almost 19$, today is only 12$ - so there is no big effect on price. In general it is no big news for me, but it is just new opportunity for trading.

Show me one single fork of famous coins that have really performed well in the market or at least continuing to stay the same way since it's introduction. Ethereum Classic is not any different from that. The initial hyping up was just a weak attempt of pumping it up and now that the bubble has popped, it has returned to the previous position again.

Ethereum Classic has already dropped 7.03% in value after their inclusion on Coinbase. Though the hype surrounding it helped the price to go up for a single day but the trend didn't last longer than that. Even if it was a chance for EThereum given by Coinbase but right now it looks like they have wasted their chance badly.

I honestly don't care about forks anymore and ETC hasn't failed me in that sense. All the forks available in the current market has been hyped up for once at least and later they have proved themselves to be just another shitcoin on the block. ETC is not different from them and I don't see any chance of it rising the future too.

This is a good news indeed for the market and for the investors. Plus the fifteen percent increase does indicate good sign that the market is on the verge of an improvement. Hopefully this might be the start of a good thing and that the market will become better.

With Ethereum Classic just added to Coinbase, do you think it’s good news for Ethereum as well?  Coinbase is one of the biggest exchanges.  They do things very deliberately.  So I think by adding ETC, Coinbase is giving the Ethereum platform a greater support.  Hopefully it’s also good news for the overall crypto market.  

Well, will never know until it happen. Actually, in different exchanges the value of any cryptocurrency is depend in the market and the market movements declared value is depends in supply and demand therefore it doesn't matter whatevever exchanges it is. Ethereum classic is one of the better cryptocurrency in the cryptosystem that's why there are a huge of people that really supporting on it so hopefully it will be much successful in the future even though it is located in any kind of exchanges.

Getting a 15% increase is a huge deal. This is a good news for the market indeed. And maybe this is the ray of hope that we need in this market to gain some trust back into those who have lost it.
