Speculation should be on the first place. In my opinion it is the main reason for market volatility. And as everything in our life, this has two opposite sides. Right now we see bad side of that - market downtrend and as a result total panic, grim mood, disappointment, frustration, crypto-depression.
But because of the same manipulation, we had such a wonderful summer and autumn 2017! When my bag did x10 even without any help from my side . And taking all of that into account, it isn't over yet. There will be other pumps and dumps, we just should be ready and keep our eyes open.

Scam and fraud are the most dissapointing and most common problem these days...specially with ICO's which has lowered the image of whole crypto with it...now became really risky to invest in any ico's as the risk of loosing money is much higher than getting any profit

Many ICO now really are scammers which makes investors afraid to invest in new ICOs, even those who have high ICO ratings could scam you. I think ICO must have rules and regulations so that people could avoid being scammed or being deceived.

Right you are! Due to these mentioned problems of ICO market people are now not more enthusiastic towards crypto currency as previous. These problems cause lack of security in the market place which is the worst thing.

Only one true reason it should be - too big competition between the ICOs, I recently saw by the accident two ICOs with the almost same road map !! How is this possible? One raised around 400.000 $, the other do not show, but if they would unite themselves, the market would look like a little bit different.
This is the problem which should be solved.

The biggest problem of ICO market to me is scams. It seems the market is flooded with scammers and that is immensely frustrating for all investors. This year lots of promising ICO projects turn out a scam.

There was no such situation yet. 90% ICO is a scam. In fact, it is not known what mapping would do without losing money or czuch. I am worried about this marketplace .

For me the most important problem is fraud. About 99% of existing ICO are scammers. So it was with the market dot com. These companies are not worth anything, they have no technology, they do not bring anything new to the world, there is only marketing. Be very careful when choosing an ICO in which to invest. Now a lot of scams in this market.

The problem of icos and scams is getting too big to ignore, there are many good icos out there but with so many scams around, there are a lot of people that are deciding that investing in icos is simply too risky, and since regulations are not going to be enough to stop this I think it is up to us to do our due diligence in the coin in which we are interested and avoid investing if something is wrong.

Almost all say about the same reasons: bad projects which have not a real product. And most of them is based on Ethereum ERC-20 contract. Another reason is bad crypto news. Furtheremore - politics of USA aginst crypto.
