Hello, there was an ICO a few months ago but it could not raise the enough funds so we can list the coin on popular exchanges. As the project was serious so we are thinking to start from open source exchanges like etherdelta & then list the token on bigger exchanges. I want to know that how many exchanges are there those are open source?

Consider Donations: BTC 17ox7CoDkfwM9bpTXvnhH1YJAy1Cproa7D - Has any whale the power to donate a penny by considering 1000BTC=$1? (Consider "penny")
ETH:: 0xa0ad5e0e8fc86a8440992ad57b201fadefbaf595 (Not for whales, but for crypto lovers to donate me eth or tokens)

There are a few decentralized exchanges, where users just trade without any requirement to list tokens. Usually erc20 are all traded there.

Idex, radar relay, many others

Ddex is not one of these exchanges. Listing might be free there, but I am involved in a project that has gotten delisted becouse of low volume. The exchange contacted the team, and made an offer to keep it listed and to make some artificial volume. They wanted to charge around 30 ETH/month for this, obviously the team refused to pay so they are no longer listed there.

On exchanges such as etherdelta and ddex you do not need to list your tokens. Trading on them will begin as soon as transactions of your tokens on wallets can be made. Listing tokens only on centralized exchanges. Sorry for my English.

Did you research yourself any exchanges that suit your needs? Did you come up with something? You never even mentioned what "type" of coin your ICO is all about Wink That's really important in terms of what exchange your coin can even be "listed" on. So having as little information as you provided, people will mention those exchanges that you could've googled yourself in 10 secs which in turn probably won't help you that much.

THe listing is free, but you can't force people to negotiate lol
What a scam project...

Pay to make an artificial volume? That's absurd.
Not the price, buy the idea to make an artificial volume..

If this project is trying to do that, imagine what else they do in the sidelines...

Most of the exchanges now is offering a community voting for new projects I think this is what do you need but it needs a community support enable to be listed. Its feels nice to be listed thru community voting than paying the fee for listing it means that you have a lot of supporters. Last time I check bit-z, kucoin, binance, coinex has a community voting. Try to review the top 10 exchanges if they stil have this free listing and try to join.

You can try work with IDEX or Forkdelta. But there are exchanges which promote coin without any payment if your coin really perspective

I think you misunderstood me. I was saying that Ddex approached them with the offer, and the team refused it, becouse they don't want to do shady things like this. I know this becouse they explained the reason of the delisting on their Telegram channel.

Regarding the fake volume offer, I don't think that it is so unbelivable, due to the unregulated nature of the markets.

I want to add. It could take about 4-6 month to be officially listed (the name of the token appears in the drop-down menu) on Forkdelta. You can make an application through GitHub and track the progress here: https://github.com/forkdelta/tokenbase/projects/4#card-10803345 (look at how many applications there)

At the same time, any ERC 20 token can be traded on Forkdelta if you know a token contract number and decimals.
