Any reason why the GeForce GTX 750Ti or R7-240 video cards that get 100% of their power from the motherboard PCIE slot would not function just fine from a 1x PCIE riser?

Any images I have seen of them in peoples rigs are all either direct in the MB 16x slot or on 16x risers.

It is CUDA miner related issue. It requires high bandwith so hashing is lover on slower pcie slots or risers. I'm waiting to see a fixed CUDA miner.
