"A lot of people in the cryptospace are looking to increase their Bitcoin holdings. The proliferation of scams that seem to offer quick and guaranteed profits from minimal investments are a testament to this. Individuals have messaged me on social media offering ways to make easy money fast. I’ve also seen dozens of posts from people promising amazing returns in exchange for sending them small investments. While these are scams (real investment opportunities never guarantee profits and no one is just giving crypto away for free), they continue to exist for a reason. People are looking for ways to get Bitcoin with little to no effort or upfront costs."

Do you believe this is trustworthy news buddy. There is no chance to receive free bitcoin in that value. If you want to invest and veg returns may believe it buddy.
Then I do not trust hackernoon, CNN and some few sites they does not seems legit for me. I love to have the cryptocurrencies but in legit way not free.

Yeah, it wasn't "free" in that no one just gave it away. The author did stuff like online surveys, airdrops and bounties. But I think it could be useful for people who have no money to buy but do have time to spare to get crypto in other ways.

That's right. He's claiming that he got free money but he was working for it. He used faucets, he did surveys and campaigns, he traded coins for profit... That's work and not an easy one! You need to have certain knowledge, at least basic english, basic understanding of trading, and you're risking your money every time by moving them around!
Based on his article I've made 2 or 3 times as much. Do you want to know how I made a lot of free BTC? I got free BCH and BTG and sold it for BTC. Yay! Free BTC, I should write an article now.

You actually should. I think articles like this aren't for people who already know a lot about crypto. more for newbies.

He probably spent a lot of time doing everything in that article and he could've made more money in that time from working a regular job.

Then I do not trust hackernoon, CNN and some few sites they does not seems legit for me. I love to have the cryptocurrencies but in legit way not free.

Why this would not be a true story, this person has invested a lot of time and effort in various internet activities and he was paid in BTC. Back in 2014 when I started work with BTC, faucets pay very nice amounts in satoshi ( back then very low value ), but today that coins have 30x more value then at that time, or even better - they have 100x more value in December 2017 ( from 200$ to 20 000$ ). My first BTC is earned from faucets, it was not easy, but a few years ago it was not something that was impossible to achieve.

Title is misleading, there is no free money - the author has invested a lot of time in this "Free Bitcoin", perhaps even years. Depending the country in which he lives maybe he can earn more just by working some regular work, but maybe this was only extra work in his free time.

What is important to emphasize in this story, this person work for BTC and if he hold it for some time, value of that BTC can be 5 or maybe 10 times more then today. I would say that it was much better spent time then watching TV or playing video games, which is in my opinion real waste of time.

It's not "free" if you have to work for it.

Well if you get free airdrops at right time, you do make a lot of free money or bitcoins. I personally got free airdrops from coins like byteball, deeponion, etc, they are decent projects.

People looking for a TLDR:

In increasing order of payouts -
1. Bitcoin Faucets - Tiny payouts. Not lucrative.
2. Surveys and Odd Jobs Online (https://www.bitcoinget.com/) - Modest earnings
3. Airdrops - Decent income. Be patient. Learn about exchanges to sell tokens.
4. Bounties (https://bountyhive.io/) - Higher payout than airdrops. Also more time consuming.
5. Social Media & Content - Eg. article writing, making YT videos etc. Needs sufficient knowledge to complete. Most time consuming. Pay the best.

Conclusion: There is no such thing as a free lunch

Guide on how to get 11 000 $ for free....

Surveys
Quote
I worked on surveys this way for a couple months and although the earnings were modest, they were real and totalled about 0.015 BTC.

Crypto Airdrops
Quote
The majority of them will be worthless, .... However, I’ve been lucky to participate in a few airdrops that turned out to be profitable.

Bounty Campaigns
Quote
The amount of tokens given out for bounty tasks is usually higher than airdrops. However, bounties are more time consuming and can be a challenge to find.

Social Media and Content Creation Bounties
Quote
I first started with social media bounties and earned thousands of tokens this way. However, I soon moved on to writing articles

All I can see here is that he worked his ass for months and 80% of his "income" came from two airdrops he was lucky to enough to pick. Without those two he would have been better as a cashier ar Pizza Hut.

Its not totally free.

Bitcoin Faucets
Surveys and Odd Jobs Online
Crypto Airdrops
Bounty Campaigns
Social Media and Content Creation Bounties

These things do involve work, might not be hard as having a day stable job but you do spend time and effort.

And the last word been posted up which is,

Nothing is Really Free. The title is misleading.

It is most likely, by FREE he means no money came out from his pocket to earn that. Though it would be better to say that it's Fruit of Hard work!

Answering Surveys and claiming on Faucets are worth it before because you will get high rewards, but it's different now. Worse is that there are tons of ads that pop out for every click in most sites which can be harmful to your device(s).

Joining Airdrops and Bounties (of all types) does not guarantee a profit unless the coin/token to be given was already present in exchanges, but imo it's better than the two above. If you will participate in the Airdrop|Bounty of a good project that has an active|serious team, I think it will be worth it

Unbelievable that the guy wants to become a source of inspiration to other people when he knows he has gained such a value by mere luck. Well he is not the first nor the last person who writes his story to inspire other people even knowing that he just had such success because he was lucky.

People should measure the consequences of encouraging others to do certain things, imagine if someone reads this story and is deluded that it can also earn $ 11,000? this person can spread to everyone that she will make a lot of money and when the person follows the same steps and realizes that she is not earning anything, that person will be frustrated

He used the word Free in the sense that he did not use fiat to trade for Bitcoin. In addition, none of the services he provided could pay Fiat directly to him.
Of course, he worked to get these bitcoin, tokens and altcoins.
But the whole point is in this new dynamics of the relation between work and remuneration via Bitcoin. The virtual environment allows a series of small tasks that can be remunerated in cryptocurrencies.
