It is not going to happen because they do not know how to mine the genesis. It is the same situation over and over again. GroundhogDayCoin If he is pushed hard enough to release right now..then it will be pulled back because someone else will mine the genesis. |

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

this is not going to get your coin of to a good start treating the community like this

Novel concept for all fail launch devs...
Have all the wallets you want to have at launch already compiled, tested and ready to go, as well as the genesis mined before
you ever announce a launch time. Then you are never under the gun.

The more I see the same type of scenario with the fail launches time and time again I honestly believe it is one of two things: 1. Either it is what I broached before regarding the devs not knowing how the mine the genesis or 2. It is hype. Even taking into account the possibility of losing some supporters I think most don't leave because of all the time they have invested in the fail launch. The larger advantage to the fail launch is the fact that if artificially bumps and fills the thread with a large amount of posts. Wallet giveaways were banned because of this same false inflation of a coin's thread. And should likewise be banned. Either way, until the masses begin to just walk away and not look back the trend will continue. And the herd mentality will allow it to continue much longer than necessary. I can understand the stance of wanting to mine it and then dump, but that only helps the devs continue the same scheme and makes them much much more than any miner. If you notice, very very rarely does a coin with 0% premine and no IPO have a failed launch. Good luck to all that stick around for the possibility of a successful second launch. I won't be back. |

Hahaha i'm sorry some of these posts are funny, I'm sure your all annoyed. I wouldn't be so disheartened if you can. I doubt very much that the genesis is the issue! It's just last minute changes have caused set backs. These could have been developed after launch but hey you can't blame the guy for trying! It's for the communities protection after all. This coin will launch, have faith. All those who are "leaving" are just increasing the amount of blocks we can all mine before it goes boom What happened to all the flat jokes!! i was hoping for some more by the time i got to work! |
