I have an asus b250 mining motherboard and an evga 800 watt power supply and i am just trying to test out 2 nvidia 1070s.  When i get everything hooked up and test the power supply when it is connected to the psu tester and NOT the motherboard it powers everyrthing up fine, but when i take the power connectors and plug them to the motherboard i do not get anything to power up afterwards. any suggestions please!?? i am very new to this and is my first minor build , Thankss!!

this is the btc section not the alt coin section.

I asked mods to move this to alt coins.

In the mean time I will try to help.

alright thank you, i have everything seemed to be hooked up correctly but i cannot find where i need to plug in my power switch cable.  there is a small indictator that says where but it still will not power up, but it will with the test connectors hooked up to the power supply.

In the photos I have attached here for you to look, there is the first photo of the motherboard, in the green circle you have to find two pins that reads PWR , use a phone torch to find them. In the second I have put a multimeter, you can turn on a motherboard with a multimeter if you don't have a power button to use. Also in green is where you should put your multimeter pointer. Just touch the two pins with the two cons of the multimeter and the motherboard will power up. Hope it works in case you haven't already fixed by now your problem
