The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Right below this thread is the bitbook thread where they explain what's going on.  They had some sort of DDOS attack and are slowly coming back online.

My question still stands if someone managed to load the site today cause that dude above me is saying he can and the ISP is at fault wtf?
