two skycoin, I'm going crazy  In fact there are 3 skycoins. Everyone is crazy. Sould be called Stinkycoin It would avoid confusion for people. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

This coin introduces no new features. Its name and three letter identifier infringes on an already established project which is in alpha. It appears to be an attempt to leech off the interest in and success of an existing project, like what happened with Mastercoin. Please rename or remove this project.

The other coin already has the source on Github. Everything is there for review. If you are going to post it here, you must do your research and respect others, or else the community will never support such an idea.
This Sky Netcoin is just some pump and dump scheme, nothing innovative, I'm very wary of this one

there is nothing wrong with my decision making skills.
also, i will install/examine the other skycoins sw to see what it is all about.
then we will make a decision on the name.
we rather would not like to do the redesign but if no other way... we have resources.
edit: i cannot post and respond as much... yes, we will use an other abbr.

you should have examined it before hand. this says a lot about you. in the field of cryptocurrency, you must have great research skills to find out what's happening in the field, so that your coin will have a competitive advantage. you need to be mindful of the possible exploits as well. a simple failed name search means that you do not have the research skills necessary for this coin to succeed. also, your alternative choice is actually trademarked in the united states....so....

we only did not research the name as well as we should... we found the dead coin... not the other skycoin. yes, you can blame that at us.
but we have been monitoring what happened to leaf, mint and some other coins.
this is why we go for different pow systems, implement kgw right from start and all these kind of things.
dont think we are completely noob at this. as the launch will show you.

Skycoin (SKY) has source code on Github and has been in testing for four months now. That is different than "vaporware". Developing a new coin is incredible work. Forking litecoin and change the logo is not on the same level with writing a new coin from nothing. |

What's the problem to order new logo for few hundreds (this one even not looks for few hundreds btw) and buy new domain names? In long term you'll loose much more if will share your name with few other coins IMO
PS: And BTW PoS percentage you mentioned - is it monthly, yearly or... ?
