So far I have only been using Myetherwallet as my main receiving wallet for ERC-20 tokens but I am now considering on using a smartphone application.
I have seen some people here has been posting about Imtoken then I saw Trust while browsing on Playstore.
I can't trust the reviews on playstore and there are some people who left negative reviews on both so I am skeptical if they are safe to use.

Can you guys give me a review on which one is better when it comes to functionality and security?

Also, if you can suggest a better wallet, do let me know in the comments.
I am planning on storing my Tokens for a long period of time while I got my Hardware wallet soon.

Trust wallet is a better option but since you do plan to buy a hardware wallet then its much better to hold a little still on your MEW and wait up for your hardware since you are
still planning for long term hold which i do see a wise decision. Im not trusting too much or do make use of mobile apps but there are lots of choices.

I never used trust wallet but i use Imtoken before, i can say if imtoken is good wallet. But, i decided to moved to Coinomi, since it has more coins(not only ERC20 tokens) and have good UI, maybe you can take a look at coinomi too.

I've been using ImToken all this while, just safe.
but it's a long sync when you have a lot of tokens, and it's a bit heavy.

Not sure if Coinomi is better than the two, but it's been over a year since I started using it. My token was stored there since April 2017 until now, no issues so far. I think as long as your seed phrase is in a safe place, there will be no problem.
