Almost everybody in their life has an idea that could be worth billions, however the major difference between those with ideas, and those with billions, is results! Ideas are completely worthless, the only thing that matters is effort and output, if you put the effort into forming a team that can make the idea become a reality, then you might stand a chance at making the billions.

If your idea isn't inspiring enough to generate a team working pro bono, then it's extremely unlikely that you will be able to achieve huge success with it.

A few months back I thought of a real world crypto application that could be a billion dollar idea. Every time I ponder it, it becomes more attractive.

Now what the hell do I do with it?

Here are my issues:

I'm not technical enough to even scratch the surface of the project.
I'm not rich. I cant sponsor the idea.
I'm have ALS, both my typing skills and life expectancy suck.

So starting the project myself wont really work.

I would like to make a little money off this idea, but also i would really like to see it implemented.
What is the best way to get the ball rolling, without screwing myself out of any gains for the idea?

If you really trust your project and there is a high chance of success, you can find investors by just making a thread in this forum. But it could be so difficult for you, because of the chances of possible scam for the investors.

Sorry guys. I posted this and didn't seen any replies right off so didn't check back quickly as this board usually moves so fast I figured it fell off.

I've just come to a decision and am going to post the idea. Maybe some kind hearted devs will run with it and do the right thing and let me in on the planning.

The idea is Dog Wealth (or pets in general i guess)

You can nowadays leave money to your dog by setting up a trust and getting someone that you trust to take care of them. This process is expensive for the average person. I want to create a cheap trust-less system.
The idea boils down to putting a smart contract wallet embedded into an animals microchip. The animals owner makes a deposit. Then sets up a schedule of payments on a dead man's switch. When the payments cease it is assumed the owner has died.

After the owner has died, the dog can be brought to a pet store chain, and the microchip scanned. The dogs needs will then be purchased with his ethereum or token in his chip. Dog food, vet visits, toys... all taken out of his own account.

Since the token can be only used for dog supplies, it hopefully will not encourage pet abductions.

If the dog has not been taken to the pet supply store in a long period of time (determined by original contract) the leftover tokens can be left to a shelter.

Allowing a decent per-visit fee for the service to the pet supply store will encourage adoption of the tech. According to google there are 89 million dogs as pets in the USA alone. Getting even a fraction of them as customers would ensure success of this project.

Working with a large pet store such as pet smart and a dog chip manufacturer such as Avid (whos chips are encrypted) may speed up the funding and distribution. But I believe a system could be created that could scan any chip to work.

Placing his project here will be difficult if he doesn't placed a excellent roadmap on his project, But if he can provide that with proper funding's for anything to support the project then might he gonna get some big investors in the long run. Maybe he should be settle on little first and doesn't bother to face those starting bad challenges and try to pursue whatever he thinks good.

Usually, new projects are initiated by the initiators of ideas with attracting interest on Bitcointalk, Reddit and other special forums. And the project team is recruited without the initial payment, and on account of future payments in the project tokens. If you are able to interest competent developers with your project, they will help you to enter the ICO in the future. The only thing I would advise is to get a patent on your idea first.

Since the token can be only used for dog supplies, it hopefully will not encourage pet abductions.

What stops people from using it to buy other things?  You believe that pet shop owners are going to collect these tokens they can't spend out of the goodness of their heart?

It's an interesting concept that needs tweaking, but use an existing coin.

I'm into creating universes, smiting people, writing holy books and listening to Prayer Messages (PMs).

It will encourage pet abduction  Grin

Its really an interesting concept there but like Vod said, what keeps the pet vet who scanned the chip to buy something else apart from what the dog needs.

There was a concept about scanning the face or the eyes for a wallet, maybe that will also work for the pets not just the dog tag, anyone can steal a dog tag and use it for themselves. Pipe dream or not. Just enjoy your life don't stress your life.
