In addition to the above, you could monetize your existing Twiiter account ( or create one) by promoting airdrops or bounties you are part of to your followers. Similarly you could promote ICOs that you like and find good, some of ICOs offer referral bonuses. You could also create website about crypto or subscription list and promote to your readers.

Important note: only promote quality projects that you find worth investing in! If you promote garbage your readers/subscribers will notice that and will leave you!

Yes, I believe the scam going around is to do a fake ICO with a throw away account (scapegoat) and then have an escrow agent hold the funds and run a bounty campaign. Then take all the ICO funds and pay them out to the escrow, bounty manager, campaign participants, and other promotions. At this point the scam is over, and the coin goes to 0 as the market digests the truth. This leaves the escrow, bounty manager, and advertisers to get the scammed funds without having to bear any responsibility for the scam. They then rinse and repeat with another ICO.

Assuming you have a large following on Twitter, Facebook, or other Social Networking sites then it should be pretty easy for you to earn money from bounties. I would recommend looking for projects that are currently offering bounties or bonuses for each follower that joins and buys tokens via your referral link. But make sure to research the project first and determine if it has real utility and if they have a great team you should feel confident about promoting their project!
