How to quickly sync your wallet with a QT client Step 1Download the most up to date Client, and latest copy of the Blockchain and Colossuscoin.conf file Windows Client 1.5.2ColossuscoinBlockchainApr17.rarColossuscoin.confColossuscoinBlockchainJuly27th.rar (Including Conf file)Step 2Go to your Download folder in your computer, right click on Col 1.5.2.rar and extract the files to a folder in which you can find. Step 3Open your ColossusCoin-qt.exe file for the first time, wait until it opens and then close the client, this will automatically create your roaming files for you. (Ignore this step if you already have had a client but wish to update or sync quicker). Step 4Go to your Colossuscoin folder which is found in User/Appdata/Roaming/Colossuscoin and delete everything in the folder except your wallet.dat Your wallet.dat contains your private keys, if you delete that you will permanently lose your coins so please make a backup of it before deleting anything.Step 5Go back to the folder in where you downloaded the files in Step 1, right click on the Blockchain file and extract the files to your Appdata/Roaming/Colossuscoin folder. Right click on Colossuscoin.conf file, copy it and paste it into the Appdata/Roaming/Colossuscoin folder as well. Your Colossuscoin Folder should now contain all the files you need. Step 6Open your ColossusCoin-qt.exe client and let your client fully sync. If you have coins available to Stake, they will Stake once your client is fully Synced and you can leave it open until they are fully confirmed (which is 70 confirmations on the network) Step 7 *optional* If you would like to check your wallet for coins that may not be showing up in your wallet, click on "Help", "Debug Window" and click on the Console tab. Type Checkwallet to check for any coins that may be missing and should say "wallet check passed" : true If it returns "Mismatched Coins" Type Repairwallet and it will fix your balance.

Open Source JavaScript Client-Side Wallet Generator http://www.universalwalletgenerator.net/ added Colossuscoin I forked the bitaddress.org and i made a really universal wallet generator: You can set any decimal addressversion and privatekey prefix, so you can work wallets for any altcoin. There are some predefined coins, so you dont have to know the right decimals for that coins. http://www.universalwalletgenerator.netThe code is not fully completed, but it's usable.

This Guide helped me to recover my col: Solution home Suspended coin Recovering coins
3 methods for recovery
First try running the RPC command repairwallet. This can be done via the console in your wallet. Navigate to Help/ Debug Window / Console.
This command will look for any bad transactions but may not work as your wallet likely still sees the transactions as good
If that doesn't work a redownload of the blockchain may correct this
Lastly a fail safe method
First your going to want to dump the private key of your wallet run the command dumpprivkey followed by your address
You will want to save a copy of the key and a backup of your wallet.
Then close your client and leave it closed for some time. At least a few hours. This will give any bans you may have received from being on the bad fork time to expire
If you have a backup of your wallet.dat then go ahead and delete everything in your appdata/roaming/CoinName folder
Then restart the wallet and let it download the chain until synced
Once synced run the command importprivkey followed by your private key
This is a method I found myself. It removes all the transactions from the wallet and when its imported it can only find whats in the blockchain. So the coins you sent are no longer sent and should be in your wallet.
Let me know if this helps

Addnodes for your COL Client If you cannot sync, please download the colossuscoin.conf file here colossuscoin.conf file and peers.dat here peers.dat and follow the instructions below: 1. Back up wallet.dat file and save it somewhere else than in the colossuscoin folder 2. Delete peers.dat and colossuscoin.conf in your AppData\Roaming\Colossuscoin Folder 3. Replace the peers.dat 4. Replace the colossuscoin.conf file with colossuscoin.conf listen=1 daemon=1 server=1 rpcuser=**yourusername** rpcpassword=**yourpassword** rpcallowip=10.1.1.* rpcport=12543 port=12454 gen=0 addnode=121.215.156.245 addnode=72.198.209.34 addnode=78.151.127.52 addnode=68.5.34.219 addnode=23.250.13.180 addnode=192.241.137.197 addnode=75.152.212.205 addnode=23.250.13.180 addnode=5.49.191.172 addnode=54.197.230.111 addnode=111.206.27.202 addnode=83.76.134.158 addnode=5.249.152.159 addnode=87.115.191.218 addnode=50.138.177.149 addnode=95.85.62.239 addnode=184.166.208.68

What's on the Cryptsy happens to your bag? Withdraw coins few days does not work! As angry as their slow work! They're waiting for the next PoS dividend so they can sell your free coins to crypto noobs. edit.. This shows how few, if any people outside the 'insiders' circle are really involved. Why is everyone soo content with Cryptsy keeping/selling everyone's stake ?
