I think everyone who merited that post should be tagged by the DT as 'Giving Merits for Unsubstantial Content'. Just like the trust system, people have entirely misunderstood the merit system. These ICO's are assuming more merits == More Credibility for their project.

Vod can't do anything more than leaving them a negative feedback.. Only GlobalMods/Admins have rights to ban the accounts/lock threads. I believe, their thread should be moved to a trashcan with a warning that they can open a new thread but can't bump it or ask for merits, if found then we can permaban the project from the forum.

Drop mprep or Welsh a message with the link and you will see an action being taken soon. I also think  a list of signature participants who bumped the ANN should also be made and there should be an action taken against them by moderators/staff.

I did. Checked and they are indeed incentivizing posting in their ANN thread. Trashed it and temp banned the OP.

But they've made a new coin now and named it LRM (Liquid Regenerative Medicine Coin) and same pattern exist there as well. User karry86 buying and selling to increase the volume and price of the LRM coin.
