This is not the main reason why people choose cryptos for gambling but if I'm correct because of its anonymous nature and from your home or phone you can start gambling within a few minutes without any hard work to set up things. Untrue. Online gambling has been there even before bitcoin and any other crypto currency was created. According to wikipedia, the first online casino was opened back in 1994, bitcoin came out on 2008.

The main advantage of bitcoin and blockchain is that it makes it easy to deposit funds in an online casino. It's also true that it adds anonimity but sometimes there are exception.

I agree, I have never been able to gamble aside from the sports betting in my country, and sports betting gets really boring after a while. Hence, now that we have bitcoin and crypto gambling (well we had it for a while now, I remember betting on blockchain.info for satoshidice it was built in the wallet so you could one click it) and now we can just gamble whenever we want and whichever game we want and wherever we want.

While its ok yo give credence to what bitcoin and blockchain have been able to achieve, the real acknowledgement should go to the internet because its on internet bitcoin itself thrives. Its on the same internet that allows to do everything you want to do, within the comfort of your room or without leaving your computer without that internet, you will only be stuck with some bunch of hardware that does not add any value.

What bitcoin has made possible is the privacy that comes with it and those country that disallow gambling and people needs to find a way to satisfy their thirst. If gambling is banned in a certain country I'm sure they also banned online gambling. As much as it made online gambling easier, it also made it a problem as we ended up having more addicts than normal.

Everything is anonymous in this space, and for the fact that blockchain brought that for a lot of gamblers, and those who have only been hearing gambling from afar before, getting to have a taste of it, it ended up brewing more gambling addicts into the community. That is a story for another day anyway.

I really do not see much miracle here, and for the fact that it made online gambling accessible without issues with the bank or government watching over one's shoulder, I really do not see how it has been a good advantage for gamblers. Sorry if I hit someone where it is not so good.
