The name is a bit of a turn off too being so generic.
There's well over a dozen services with the same name - "InstaPay" that is.

wow guys wasn't really expecting such negativity, probably because there are hundreds of coins born every week now and most of them if not all of them fail because of poor development/support!
we have spent too much time and resources on this coin already for it to let it just go with the flow of others.
All of you on this forum have been asking for something new and not just another $hitcoin, and I truly believe this is it!

If you don't want to join IPO,that's cool, Check back on 7th march on the launch and Mine for a bit and I can promise you it will pay off!

Ok guys, not much to see here.

They claim they will use the IPO money to establish the 'support fund'.  They claim this support fund will in fact be solely funded by the IPO.

Then they claim that if people invested 50 bitcoins you could get something like 300  insta pay things for .1 bitcoin.

So what happens if the investors decide to dump?  Wouldn't you need three times as much money invested to "guarantee" the support fund will not run out?

I would be happy to alleviate peoples concerns Smiley

Quote
I would very much like to volunteer to serve as an escrow if the community would allow me.

After the recent spike in IPO scams it would be nice to have a 3rd party trusted by the community to intermediate between all these new IPO coins.
I myself am wanting to invest in HeavyCoin but am reluctant because of the fear that the devs may be corrupt and run away with the funds Sad

I've had my profile on here for a while and I have a little bit of trust reputation already from some little trades for newly launched coins. Nothing amazing but at least it's something. I've been trying to get my trust rating up to make trades in the forums for coins that aren't on exchanges but there are so many scammers around that no one is ever willing to go first and this would be a great way (for me) to overcome that Smiley

Also if the developers want early access to any of the funds for promotional reasons then they can let the thread in their respective forum know in advance and justify themselves for transparency.
The dev's can still be emailed the tx numbers and view them at their leisure.

This could be a good thing for the devs because they could potentially raise more IPO investment because people will be less afraid and more trusting and it could also be a great thing for the community to know that the devs cant go rogue and run off with the coins.

I'm happy to provide any information on myself for security and reassurance and I'm also happy to take no commission since I've never done this before and have no real reputation just yet. But who knows, one day I might be known as the escrow guy or the devs could pay bountys to successful escrows Cheesy

here is a bitcoin facebook page I've had for a while:
https://www.facebook.com/bitcoinbillboard

the twitter feed that goes with it:
https://twitter.com/BitBillboard

and a guide to poolmining bitcoin I wrote in early 2013:
https://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?%2Ftopic%2F2409-cpu-pool-mining-using-digitalocean-vps-instructions%2F

and if you google 'derrend bitcoin' you will find references to me contributing in forums from stackoverflow to reddit and many places in between.

You can also find my gpg public key by searching for my username on the MIT public key server for anyone who may be interested:
http://pgp.mit.edu/

If the community isn't keen then that's fine but I'm very much up to the task and hope perhaps that my offer might be at least considered.
All feedback appreciated
Thanks Smiley

ezvm- we started slowly making this right after the new-years when the cryto market was way different then it is at the moment, no one would have been screaming like this back then  Undecided Guess we were a bit late actually launching it when so many people have been burned by Ipo scams.

But we are going through with it and the launch will still happen on 7th march.
illiki23-The support fund rate was designed to be actually really low value and only to kick-in , In case at some point the network hashrate drops down to less then 100-150mhs so there are no dumping past this level because people would know that they always ARE supported below that level. If this will be successful pre-launch few early dumpers won't really do any harm.

But....

You say you "guarantee" that you will be able to maintain the support fund.  You also claim the support fund is solely funded through the IPO.

Now you are saying you are relying upon the fact that there will not be people dumping because everyone knows they will be supported.

So you are just assuming people will not dump.  You are assuming the IPO will cover the support.

What happens if it does not?  You are telling people they can get three times their value (> 300%).  You would pretty much require that less than a third of investors sold their coins to guarantee any sort of support.

I really hope no-one gives you money.  This is an obvious scam.  It is probably closer to a ponzi scheme than a lot of coins are.

You are not only guaranteeing you can maintain the wall, but that the support wall will increase.  There is absolutely no way to maintain this.  It is a blatant scam. In an ideal world you would be brought up on charges of fraud.
