Hi guys,

as we are now offering pre order for the Holic Miners we want to introduce them also to public in order to avoid scam accusations.

The founder of Holictech is a big Farmowner in southern Europe - we have seen 2 farms in person and also had business with him in the past. Since last year he approached us with the thought to create his own Mining machines primarily to use at his own farm locations. We agreed that Cryptouniverse will do the distribution of Holic Miners.

Website: http://holictec.com/

Design looks nice I like the idea of the hotswap psu.

Would this support asicboost?

Would this support asicboost?

Or more to the point, does it REQUIRE using a pool that supports AB?

Nice looking machine. Any information on the warranty? Would the PSU be included in the warranty?

Any info/specs on the PSU?? Efficiency or cost in case you want to have a spare on hand?

The list of issues with this one:

1) Highest: it's a pre-order from an unknown

2) can't fit all that in the tiny box

3) Hey we have 22TH and the next one will be 28TH <- so why is the first one unreleased only 22TH? Tongue

4) It's better and faster than anyone else coz ... um why? <- to make people throw away their money and give it to them

5) some random miner in EU decides he wanted to make his own miners and managed to get people better than everyone else making miners ... <- ok that seals the "it's a scam" deal

Edit: and as someone else mentioned ...
How can you hot swap a PSU? LOL

Ja. It takes n+1 PSU's to pull/replace one without shutting down... A single PSU cannot be 'hot-swap'. Simple slide out/in for (power off) replacement, sure.

Globalfoundries 10nm ASICs?

Sorry, no way! GF has 28/22/14/12/7nm. There is no 10nm node at all!

Regarding PSU, that was kinda a typo what I meant was of course easy replaceable hehe

Other open points will be answered asap.
On a sidenote, although we trust the guy, we are also waiting for a working mining prototype in hand to check it out ourselves.

Update:
#chips are from Korea, Samsung - sorry for the missinfo we discussed with the guy month ago and I did not recheck this particular piece of info, just asked and he corrected me that it is Samsung - originally he did not intend to go retail with this product but only B2B like BF
#Miners will have no pool restriction, so no asicboost
#no detailed info about PSU yet
#regarding warranty, I can say if you buy over us we give 2 years guarantee for retail customers

We will update as soon as we have a video or prototype in hand or somthing similar.
cheers

so 22th at 1600 watts

my innosilicon does 17,6th at 1450 watts at the wall (ac) on low speed

that is 1450/17600 = 82 watt per th and it ships now.

1600/22000 = 73 watts per th

but it may be the dc number so 73/0.92 = 81 watts per th and it come when?

dec most likely dec 31 not dec 1

even if it does everything it says it is 120 days slower than the T2Turbo

sure, it will most probably not be the most efficient thing on the market, just looking at Canaan A9 announcement.

But I would not compare it with Inno(personally). I just do not buy Inno for us or our customers as I think service and quality is bad. Same is with Whatsminer M10 but they dont even have Fcc, Ce which is even more bad. At Inno maybe the miner has CE/FCC, power supply most likely nothing - cheap china psu.

@sidehack
will ask and post here asap.

I will definately not communicate a farm location to strangers.

Holic takes more time and will communicate as I know more.

Yes sure, you are more stranger than anyone , as a seller here.
I doubt anyone would buy with such conditions.
