Should limited participant signature campaign in the last weeks?

Hi everyone!

As title, I would like to survey opinion people on the subject
Should limited participant signature campaign in the last weeks?

Because I have seen many bounty campaigns when I joined the signature campaign. For member rank in Bitcointalk from Jr.Member to Member, the number of stake is very small, sometimes they participate the campaign and contribute advertising to the project from the beginning but they get very little stake.
But for members from Hero Member upward, Sometimes they don't need to join in from the beginning, they only need to participate in the last few weeks of the campaign, number of stake will many times higher than other members.

I see this really unfair for low level members.

So I would like to ask we should limit this?

I'll try to answer what I have understand. From what I know bounty campaigns are the ones who have the right to accept how many members they want and what they want to pay them. The admins here in BCT don't have the power to set a standard where their is a minimum amount to be paid on this certain ranked member. The admins are outside on our transactions and even though your payments are low you are the one who will choose if you will be joining that campaign or not as they are not forcing you to take the cheap payments.

Hell yeah mymenace is his/her cousin . Got 10 Merits for just asking about an airdrop and funny thing about "mymenace" thrown away another 5 Merits for just the reply of "Thanks for your merits". LOL

I know Merit is not moderated by the forum, but this is a clear cut case and we all are playing the waiting game....

Your writing skills are one of the reasons newer members don't get the same as more advanced members. Some other reasons are:
-It's very easy to make a new account, whilst having it survive (not get red-tagged/blacklisted) through the ranks is much harder.
-New accounts often spam
-New accounts often use horrible English
-New accounts often post useless content

New accounts clog the forum with nonsense. I was once also a newbie, but persisted and now I am a Sr. Member. If you wish to obtain the same amount of stakes as higher ranks, I suggest you become a higher rank!

I'd also recommend trying to improve your English grammar *slightly*...

And so, I don't see a point in closing registrations for signature campaigns in the last weeks.

I don't know mymenace. And I don't know why he give me merit, but I'm really thankful for that. I know my English grammar is broken and I will try to improve, but this topic I am want to discuss.

You cannot compare a giant ads screen in the street with guys putting an ads in their tee-shirts.
People will likely pay more attention to an ads seen in this screen and buy the product while the guys although they are many and passed the whole day walking in the streets will not get that much.
In bitcointalk, it is the same. People passed more than 3 years to rank up to hero/Legendary and now collecting merit has the right to earn more than a new registered member with a dozen farming accounts, no?
But I agree with you, I prefer to limit participants...to +10 merits and above at least.

I know you're joking, but since OP's English is so bad I had to take a look at who gave him merits--and surprisingly I don't see anything suspicious.  Mymenace is still consecuposting in that Cryptsy thread that should be locked, and the other merits are from the WO thread.  I don't think his posts were worthy of merit, but no shenanigans detected (at least not by me).

I don't get what he's trying to say here in its entirety, but I guess it's about joining a bounty later rather than earlier.  All I can say is that whether someone is allowed to do this is up to the bounty manager.  It is of little consequence to the community, and it's not really a Meta issue.  This thread should be in some other section.  Probably one with a big digital trash can close by.

If I am not wrong your accusation about stake distribution of signeture campaign. Honestly it's not moderated by forum. Although stake distribution depend on managers & project management but do you think build a hero/legendary account is too easy ? I don't think, so how you expect same stake ? Even posting quality not same & signeture display is totally different. If you don't like to join, better avoid signeture campaign. Don't expect same stake with them who had spend multiple years on this forum.

Although not suspicious but I don't think he deserve 10 & 5 merit only for reply on bounty thread specially for bounty report. I visit withlove99 full merit history he received 19 merit from mymenace and he return 3 merit to him. Look like they exchanged merit almost on same thread.

@OP, the number of participants will always depend on the bounty manager. Just be a little wiser when joining bounties, or you might end up getting nothing.

If the rank is your issue, leave the old members alone, they've been here longer than you. The only thing we could do for now, is how we will earn those merits.

Dont join signature campaigns if you dont want to be cheated as what you think,senior members and up are doing this thing which is why it is useless to join the bounty from the start to end,follow only those bounty managers which has limited slots so that there are no hatred after the campaign.

Avatars, colour, ASCII arts all adds a difference to the promotional content/wears and that is why there is a difference in the stakes/pay rate.

If you are worried over the pay rate then try to rank up. Making posts and crying about signature/bounty pay rate differences wouldn't help at all but making posts that is helpful for the beginners or posts that is helpful might rank you up.

I think there are so many things to be worried rather than pay rates of a signature/bounty campaign in this forum. I think OP's intentions are clear. He/she wants to be ranked up easily and join a bounty campaign and filled the shit reports to get a higher pay check. This is not a workplace mate and see around and gain some knowledge.

in fact, I agree with the number of participants in the signature campaigns, Aerys2 directed bounty campaigns limit the number of people
