MyFarm, I thought you are a true believer in AUR coin

It seems that all you try to do is to create a hype pump and dump. quite disappointing as I REALLY believe that Auroracoin can bring a change to the Cryptocurrency world
I DO love Auroracoin.  I also love the idea of Mazacoin.  I love the idea of any cryptocurrency becoming widely adopted by any nation.  The sooner that happens, whether it be in Iceland, the Lakota nation, or elsewhere, the sooner we can begin to enact real change in this world.  I don't own much of either coin (most of my money is in Darkcoin right now), this is more a political/moral thing for me.  I like Mazacoin a little more than Auroracoin from the perspective that the Lakota people are EXTREMELY poor and a valuable cryptocurrency could completely change their world.  But believe me, I still very much support Auroracoin Smiley

I can't see how this coin is going to change anything. If it's like the system in Canada, the people are poor because for generations they've been given handouts and become completely dependent. Because of this they probably have zero money management skills. Giving them a coin that's value has been pumped up is just like giving them more free money. They'll see the value and cash out into fiat and piss it away. The only thing that's gonna change things for these people is education and years of rehabilitation back into the real world where people actually have to support themselves. Maybe I'm missing something because this is in the U.S. and could be a different situation.

There are plans to maybe start a mining operation, and to start other crypto related enterprises... and I hear that they want to intorduce crypto related and computer sciences to the tribal college. If they can add a petahash or more of mining into the mix and earn off fees and maybe filter some of their economy also through Maza and encourage new business, or maybe even encourage other casinos elsewhere to use them as their crypto of choice.. etc.. then there is earning potential.. I hear they are making a push to grow ganja too.. so maybe some of that evolving multi billion dollar industry that is in the process of popping up all over the states can be had by the Lakota, and some of those funds could flow through maza.. heck maybe even their tourism could get better because of all of these things...  basically what I am saying is , just because something has been so for x amount of time, does not mean it needs to stay that way, and maybe they can change it, and maybe this is one of the ways they can go about it... their own governing council, the own lands, who knows where the future maybe... maybe 2014 is the turning point for them... in as much as they want it to be... it would be an amazing thing.. I for one would love to go on a holiday to south dakota to te Lakota, go horse riding, sleep under the stars, pay for everythig in bitcoin or maza or dollars and buy things from their community, stay in their accomodation or under the stars, take tours, learn how to make things, outdoor night time music... (maybe even a big outdoor festival with big name acts first one Red hot chili pepper head line with a local band as back up, ha ha) I would go there on holiday to do all that, and to go there and sample some of their locally produced and organic ganja in a fine coffee shop with a fine sunset view... before heading to an outdoor dinner somewhere... all put on and laid out by local business and paid for in Mazacoin.... and then go to bed and get ready to go fishing or horse riding again in the morning... I am sure you can do similar already to a degree, and I am sure there are some aspects they would rather not invite into their lands/lives, but something along those lines...  I would LAP THAT UP.

I agree about the education aspect and I think that is part of the mix... if they can jump start the process via crypto profit and courses and business etc then I think they should give it a shot.

Just waiting for the bottom of this coin to see how much BTC I've lost. Been a fun ride I'll tell you. This title should read: If you loved making tons on Auroracoin, you'll hate giving it back for Mazacoin!

err but you will only have lost them if you sell your Maza coin..  I do not know your circumstances but if you can hodl, then hodl, and see where we are at in 3, 6, 12 months.  Then if there is still no return then count your loss.. this coin is barely traded yet.

It is ironic that a nation which was forced too give up everything they hold dear...centuries of tradition and heritage...confined too a reservation and spoon fed a new normal can rise from the ashes too create a currency that might be widely accepted! Treaty 1.2...

The difficulty is still really high,  so the miners don't look like they've given up yet on this coin.

For those who invested,  it takes impeccable timing to profit.

The problem with MZC is that it is in what they call the 'inflationary phase' of a coin.  At this time, there are too many coins created per day relative to the number of coin that is in circulation.

My recommendation:

(1) .00005 was the original floor.   If in the short term it gets near that price,  it would be a buy.
(2) MZC still needs to sort out its legal standing with the tribal council.  This is catch-22,  it will get approval if successful,  however it is hard to be successful without the legal approval.

im not sure but im positive there was a select group that new this was gonna blow to the roof,  they bought millions and shat on everyone now they live in a mansion end of the story.

Big news late last night.  Mobile Android Wallet released
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mazacoin.drobit.wallet
This coin could be simply distributed to the whole nation on andriod phones for free from freedompop or similar.  I see mobile as the catalyst that is required for any coin to thrive.  It gives people the means to share with anyone who you bump into that is interested in the concept.
