Why satoshi and his team is not working to make BTC better for mass adoption?

First of all, the original "Satoshi" seems to be missing for years.
Second, the Bitcoin development team is working on improving it, but "to make BTC better for mass adoption" is quite vague term and everybody understands whatever he wants from it.
The developers can improve the software, but they will not do (much) advertising, and "mass adoption" is tied to politics (regulation, banks' policies), news (good or bad) and probably price too.
All of us should contribute a little here and there by telling people the benefits of Bitcoin and maybe the steps for easier use.

Many people say that Satoshi is not a person, but an organization. And many say Satoshi is a person. He had been missing since 2009. Who would have thought that the bitcoin price would reach $20k one day. It must be a good feeling if you are a holder. Added to that statement,  everyone was looking for him, but they had failed to find him. Satoshi is still a mystery that cannot be solved. Personally, I would want to meet him by coincidence...

He envisioned bitcoin to become either big or entirely dead, Satoshi made a decentralized economy happen and left bitcoin in good hands, Even though some of the developers now are working on their own altcoins but core developers are still here and they're working to make it better. Problem with making bitcoin big is actually a real and big problem of it's own.

No one knows Satoshi and no one know for who is he or she. Maybe he is dead or something. He saw for what is going to happen and it is better for now.

Bitcoin has grown past what Satoshi can and can not do. It's now in the hands of everyone. We are the ones to push for adoption. And because Politics still control the world, the fate will still be in the hands of those deciding the financial system. If those can be won over, then we should be good. It'll take time. paper money didn't just spring and took over in a day.

Non one has  claim to have access to Satoshi, more so, bitcoin network is not limited to Satoshi alone. As such we have bitcoin developers, these guys are working otherwise the current low transaction fee we are witness and the time for confirmation would have been a hell.

This sums it up.  Even if Satoshi was still around, they'd have no special powers to get stuff done.  Developers can propose changes by writing whatever code they like, but that code doesn't mean anything until the users choose to run it.  The more people who start using Bitcoin, the more difficult it will be to get everyone to accept any big changes.  If the users like the proposed changes, they'll be implemented when they're ready.  If, however, it's a contentious change where some don't agree, it might not happen.  That's why so much effort is now being poured into building layers on top of Bitcoin, rather than messing with the foundations.  You can build whatever you like on top and no one can prevent you from doing that.  As an example, there are at least three different Lightning developer teams all working on whatever it is they want to focus on.

It's important to remember that Bitcoin still attracts a sizable proportion of dev talent in the crypto community.  People all over the world are putting their time, effort and skill into making it better than it already is.  Most altcoins can't compete with this.
