How much money you've lost by Hodling?

Hodl is a so-called word in the crypto platform. I think this is not for the everyone. Hodl is for them who have a lot of money, and who don't care about money!
I've lost 60% of my holding coins! It really hurts! I held some very good coins to make a double profit! A lot of people suggested to hodl, not to sell! Now I am regretting!
No, I am not in a panic, but it hurts when I check my portfolio!

I've lost 70% ( hold ) since the beginning of this year and 15 - 20% on trading part.

This time it is best to hold. You may feel that the hold will be losing money every day but until the market returns, you will no longer lose money but will make a huge profit. If you invest at the bottom of the exchange and hold, you will never lose money.

What I lost is much big, my entire portfolio by the beginning of the year and the present has got about a 90% decline. This happened because almost every asset in my portfolio reached ath when along with bitcoin, but expecting big and holding led to such a big loss.

I've counted it for last 3 months and my assets value decreased by a 60% in the 3 months time period. The fluctuations are actually decreasing the price of altcoins against dollar in a rapid pace. While bitcoin is stabilizing itself most of the time incurring lesser loss.

I have an ideology when it comes to cryptocurrency. Even if what i am holding has plunged in price and i have no sold it, i do not believe that i am loosing. If only you sell while the price has fallen, then you have lost.

You are pretty right, mate. He still holds the coins and the values are possible to rise at any time. As long as it is in your wallet and any possibilities to get worth, you cannot state you lost by holding. Can we know what coins you mean?

Since investing, I have never lost money, because my investment motto is slow and sure when it is profitable I will invest but I may accept less profit. i hodling 3 coin in my wallet

The highest I have lost through holding onto my tokens instead selling off is 400% I held some Credits CS tokens earlier this year soon after the projects ICO and the tokens have not faired very well since then  with the value dropping by over 400%.

I have some other tokens that have dropped a lot more but this is the most because I spread out my funds over a lot of projects at different point in time and a few of them are still doing okay.

How much money have really been lost? We lost percent % rather I lost percent, I barely calculate the actual amounts lost since the percent already reduced, I rather hold more some times and most of the time sell of at ten percent down which I couldn't even calculate the actual money gone, cryptocurrency is a world one need to study well before leaving in there in other not to lose all.

My horibble expirience of holding is from HYDRO.Ive spent 400$ when it reached 170 sats on mercatox for hoping that it will reach atleast 200 to 300 sats but it didint happen.It was so disappointed that after that FOMO thing it was deeply down and down until it reach 30 sats.I sold my hydro at 30 sats.Imagine how much money i lost so i tell to myself never invest anything again.

i'm holding few Altcoin and as you see market condition for now, i'm loss more than 70% all of my asset in altcoin, that's why this is a big study for me.
in future i just want invest in major altcoin like Ethereum Litecoin, XRP and etc

In my opinion, since you are hodling you won't loss anything because you are not just looking at the numbers that flashing in your screen every hour and looking at the graphs every day in Coinmarketcap.com but you are holding because you believe in it and you will not get affected with rumors and the numbers.

Why are you so over conscious about your loss? Bitcoin also have ups and downs in the last few years when it has not still made its foundation. Bitcoin didn't grow that big only for a month but for years of striving in the market.

I once held STQ coins on one of the exchangers namely indodax.com and when I took it off I lost about $ 280 and I was very sorry for selling it in panic. so I suffer a loss

I hold some coins that has lost 99% of its value simply because I was hoping that it would eventually go up and I would profit from it. I even hope that it would at least reach half of its all time high but then bear market come and it continue to go down. Now, I need some funds so I don't have a choice but to sell it and think of some ways for it to never happen again. When I receive a coin, I would just sell it and then think of buying again when the price goes down knowing that some bounty hunters or investors would continue to sell it.

I HODL the Gladius token when the price was almost $ 1 because I was sure of the performance of the development team and until now I had lost a total of 7,400 $

latest experience only lost thousands of dollars (more precisely around $ 2K) because of hold but the token was hacked so the price was very low
