We have plenty of miners that are actively deriving income from Bitcoin mining. The money is here and proven through market sales. All we need is organized leadership in this sector to direct funds and investments towards better marketing for larger profits for themselves; obviously, through more Bitcoin sales and broader Bitcoin usage. All we need is entrepreneurs to step up and begin to market Bitcoin from a higher level to developers and innovators. Mt. Gox and Tradehill will inevitably take this position.

We have nothing to worry about.  Bitcoin will consistently move forward once we see more direct intervention.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I have said this also many times. But unfortunately MtGox who is probably the most profitable (in absolute) bitcoin business with highest turnover, does not really do significant marketing for Bitcoins.

Once Mt. Gox sees its growth stagnate, they will act if they have an ounce of rationality as an organization. How's the record of its holding company?
