Has anyone heard about this new company that was able to be a reseller for Gridseed....theyre called Helix Miners...website is www.helixminers.com

I called them up to ask some questions about their version of the product...apparently theyre going to start selling them about $235 each...and the more you order the cheaper they are......lots of 12 and 24...

Anyone know anything about them?  If theyre legit or not?  Would love some feedback!!  Thanks!

Claimed specs:

BTC mode up to 2.25G/s BTC Hash Rate, with 2.4W/GHash
LTC mode up to 60K/s LTC Hash Rate

IMHO,

Poor ROI for BTC mining. 2250Mhash/s for USD235 = 9.57 Mhash/s/$ ; which is the worst of what is available out there.
You need about 250 Mhash/s/$ to be competitive for miners shipping in the "near future".

I have NOT kept up with LTC miners. Gridseed claimed about 4 khash/$ for LTC mining.

Could anyone with FPGA-based LTC miners (shipped) give us some figures for comparison?

I plan on buying some miners from them next week, I live about 30min away from their office.
I will review them after my purchase and let you know about the operation as I will make a personal visit there.

Everytime I have gone to the site it just has the "Sale Open Soon" and no pricing. Even had sales scheduled this week, but nothing ever showed up. Only thing I see in the products is Gridseed stuff.

So even if you buy 12 to 24 you wont make a roi, alpha-tech will be shipping within a few months which will ramp up the difficulty

I have 20 Gidseed running at around 6.2 MH/s, and the alpha-tech stuff has not shipped yet. I will happily pay more now to have gear in my hand within a few days and running while people with pre-orders are still waiting.
