Do You Think ICO investors are Decreasing?

Maybe, the number of investors are not decreasing but the amount of money they invest is. If I'm to be asked, I should not gamble my money yet in ICOs especially in the current market situation, too shaky. I'll just focus on trading already listed coins.

ICO investors are decreasing because the value of ethereum is dropping and all ICO using ERC20 tokens and investors value is also dropped after their investment due to this free fall in ethereum. Whenever this market starts its upward journey and ethereum start rising then interest in ICO comes back again.

I think it is because a lot of countries started to banned bitcoin, that is why it lost a lot of investors or people who buys cryptocurrency. It is really awful that a lot coins in the market is falling because we are kosing of investors.

More serious ICOs are turning today to private sales and don't even reach the stage of public sale. Sometimes they reach it with very limited amount of tokens to distribute publicly. Some of them are also preparing to issue security tokens because of new regulation. The ICO field is just going through transformation.

ICO investing is definitely dying.  Most ICOs have turned out to be scams or they are trading at a price much lower than the presale price.  Most investors lost a lot of money already so they are very hesitant to put more money into this market.  Maybe when we start another bull run and bitcoin hits 20k we may see more ICO investing again.

Yes it true that ICO investors are decreasing. I think there are many reasons affect for this situation in cryptocurrency market. At this time most of new ICOs are scam, investors have to take high risk when brought ICOs.

The main reason of ICO investors are decreasing is due to lot of ICO are scam and even if the ICO is gone good they are taking lot of time to release the coin and list in the exchange. That is why it is better to buy in the market when the ICO coin is listed.

At the moment i also believe that these are the main reasons why there are fewer and fewer investors in ICOs. All the scam ICOs have almost destroyed the market and driven away many investors. In addition, many ICO projects have their token prices crash after the ICO and do not offer any purchase support for their own token. Investors also know this and prefer to buy their tokens after an ICO if they are cheaper. Therefore i do not think that we will see many ICOs for a long time to come.  

You put together a strong argument that sounds very logically. Yet the numbers point toward a different reality, the amount of ICO investors or capital that is invested is actually increasing. I agree that this makes no sense at all. Still, this is the data.

its a hundred percent that investors for ICO is decreasing.
Due to many SCAM ICO that limit any person on their project.
this is not a good thing to have but ICO will be developed with this problem.
we just need to wait how will TEAM ICO develop their strategies.

Indeed ICO investors were decreasing currently but i think people too will more selective and carefully to being an investors of ICO again because people do not want to trapped to scam ICO which is this will be very detrimental to them

Yes, I think that the number of ICO investors has decreased and many projects can not raise capital. this is due to the loss of confidence in the ICO

And who can blame them, I invested in an ico last year and even if I lost money it seems I did better than most investors since I only lost a little while many lost everything they invested, with those kind of results it is impossible to keep investors coming since those that invested do not have any more money and the ones that would have liked to invest are seeing what happened to those that took the risk.

Yes, I think so, investors are decreasing a lot less due to the lack of trust of investors in the ether, as the ethereum is not performing in the market as per expectation and dropped, even there are not any negative news.

yes that's my thought too, to think that even good projects are getting fail, it is because investors are avoiding to invest as of now, they prefer to stop investing as of now since the market is down, and its the wisest decision to do for now.

Yes, what I feel now is that ICO investors or cryptocurrency investors have reduced, this is what causes the cryptocurrency price this year to always go down and it is very difficult to rise again. The reduction in investors could be due to the loss of investor confidence in the future of cryptocurrency itself

Investing in ICO is still beneficial if you look in terms of gwei or Satoshi and investors can easily make huge returns when ICO token launched on the exchange. Investors need to act on right time simultaneously as token value generally drops in few hours when launched on exchange. Now coming into the topic the investors are decreasing in the ICO markets are due to following reasons
1) Bear Market :- in this bear market almost already listed coins and tokens are down about 40% to 90% in values as compare to its ATH value. Which 40 to 90% discounts on already listed coins/token.
2) Scam :- Scam projects are exist now also due to this scam projects good ICOs are suffering to complete its targeted funding as this scam projects degrading the trust and faith of investors in ICO.
