Yes, number of ICOs decreased for last 3 months due to market dump and exit scams of ICOs. As for me I try to avoid investing during ICO stage, because even hype projects fall below tokensale price. Let's see on DAV,it was a huge ICO and now like 0.3 eth and 0.1 in usd.

I think ICO investors are decreasing day by day. Many well rated ICO projects can't make even the soft cap! I think this fall of ICO is happening because of the lack of investors! And many Investors stopped investing because of the bear market. What do you think about this?
I agree with your statement, the whales have benefited in 2017 so they have left crypto currencies, they are back in stock I think.

Investors are decreasing, we can see it through ICO as many projects didn't meet their softcap
Some ICO who sre legit stopped their sales due to lack of investors.
They are afraid because there are so many scammed ICO.
But this will not last and the investors will be back.
This will be resolve soon.
I have serious doubts that the market of icos is going to recover completely as you say, obviously if the market recovers there is going to be more people willing to be invested in new projects, but I find it very unlikely that we are going to see the same kind of enthusiasm that we saw in the last years, to me icos have been greatly damaged by scammers and all the people that have lost money are not going to trust in icos again.

Many investors who shared their funds to the new coin, so that each coin has decreased prices. Surely this could cause the market getting down and new coins will soon rise. But I think the nature of the market for a while and will soon rise again.
I think once the market starts showing real signs of improvements the growth would be enormous as most of the investors that are currently waiting for good projects will finally invest.

Investing in ICO is indeed very risky, and investors understand this. Now more and more ICO are scammers and finding a worthy ICO is more and more difficult. And the current situation in the market contributes to this

There is a visible decline in the number of ICO investors! Those floating these ICOs (Majority) are scammers looking to steal money from a large number of unsuspecting investor. Although a few good project exist with good intentions, the larger failed ones have made people wiser! I really think that people will thread carefully now! Except for the ones who deliberately want to lose money!

Investors became much less than there was still a floor a year ago. The market of cryptocurrencies falls and all of them lose the money. For this reason probably there were less persons interested to invest projects in ico.

That may be an advantage to altcoins already traded on exchanges. If these potential ICO investors won't be investing in ICOs anymore, for sure they won't just sit in their chairs and do nothing. Most of them will surely just shift their money on already-traded coins and thus helps partly on the recovery of altcoins. I believe.

Certainly this is so, because the recent actions with crypto-currencies and scam projects are terrifying of many investors big and small, I still think that today it is necessary to introduce something very serious that would help to avoid the scam projects.

The fact that the market is bearish so many ICO investors are in that fear of loosing their invested capital. This is the fact most of the incoming projects in this bearish market tend to significantly loose value even lower than the price at what it was launched on. This is evidenced to many ICO projects that have launched in this bearish season. This is the only reason for the decreasing ICO investors.

You are right in fact investors are instead waiting for the token to hit the market because they can get it cheap than buying it in the ICO and some investors are now very choosy when it comes to investing in ICO because so many ICO are frauds with no platform or product to work on.

ICO investors are indeed decreasing and it's real.
But I am sure that they will not completely abandon the cryptocurrency because they also understand that when the price goes up, the ICO can also generate a lot of profit.

Its looking like investors are decreasing because of the present situation in crypto world , the bearish market, ICOs not reaching successful milestone such as soft cap which is end results of scam ICOs all over the places, some ICOs even lied about reaching softcap in order to lure investors and at the end of the day, they run with the raised funds and that is no longer a secret thereby making investors and potential ones to be picky about the project they invest in

This is of course because ICO projects are not profitable as expected. Most of the successful ICOs in the past have been drastically reduced when their coin is listed on the exchange.

Yeah for sure, when you are investing and you keep losing money, would you keep on investing? I guess the answer should be No,
so right now, people are no longer investing in ICO at the moment, I last invested in ICO three moths back,
But I think when market comes back to normally, ICO investing will be booming again.

Yes, I noticed this trend. Now in ICO, there is little to risk of investing. After all, a lot of projects went bust. And many companies now do not endure the best of times. But I hope that all this is temporary. And soon everything will fall into place.

Yes, many projects do not even collect a soft cap. But really good projects that are carried out by ICO still collect and hard cap. It all depends on the project and the final product that they offer. And investors like they were and are.Simply, investors want to put their money in something really promising and worthwhile.

For sure they are decreasing but that's not a reason to not invest in legit quality ICOs. Entering the best ICOs now (i.e in a bear market and before a bullmarket has begun) could generate some very tidy profits in the medium term.

Why? Look at the price of ETH. Dirt cheap meaning investing in these good ICOs is cheaper than it's been for a long time. Potential Xs are increased. Some people have said the time for ICOs doing 20X is over. Bullsh*t. It's a bear market and people are scared. But when people are scared that is the exact time that you should be buying. Buy the blood. Sell the hype/ run/ news whatever.

LINKCHAINX (alongside maybe one or two others) is the only ICO I would consider at the moment because it's solving a real-world use-case in the supply-chain market. Basically freelancers and people that want to hire their services. By 2023, about 50% of the US working age population will freelancers according to experts. And LINKCHAIN will be there to take a massive part of that market share. That's why I'm in on this. Massive use case and future potential. And much better than their rivals e.g. Fiverr, Upwork and Freelancer.

They also have a very active Telegram: https://t.me/linkchain  (also a big plus for me as an investor as it shows an engaged and active community)

Have a good day folks.

Don't think so. I think Ethereum price was ranging in $200 I think it's a good choice to start investing in Top 2% ICO. which is mean Investor in ICO will get best return if Ethereum price will going up & up from $200.
